Love too hand out +1s to every post like I'm from the big landmass above the states (Canada).

The Gruber commercial with animal subtitles was an unexpected delight.

Go Bucks.

Scottie is an OK player but he’s not really elite at anything in the NBA. Kinda like his running mate RJ.

The thing about Scottie, is that he has bought into team development. Scottie, has his own areas to develop, but he is like a Swiss Army knife. If he wanted 30 points he could get them, if he wanted 10 assists or 10 rebounds, consider it done. Scottie can defend most, if not all positions on any given night. But, he is playing the team game and helping the team's development. Scottie, is only just 24, is being nurtured as the team leader. Nice to have a guy, that puts the team development over his own stats.

Incredible that he could be the best player in the game but chooses not to. Love a young man with the patience to be merely good for as long as it takes, because being great would hurt the team development, definitely a real thing that is happening.

Turned a Raptors game on and saw that great player Scottie Barnes. I thought wow what a great player that Scottie Barnes is, what can't he do? Score, pass, rebound, defend, put the team above himself, be a leader, wow. What a great player. Maybe the best player. So I called Scottie, and said to him, "scottie, you're such a great player, why don't you just win the games?" you know what he said to me? he said, "I'm a leader, I'm putting the team development before my own stats, I'm playing the team game". Can you believe it? this guy wants to win so bad that he's willing to not win games to make sure that he puts the team in position to properly develop, to win games.

Brook hit 1000 3s career tonight.

Who was his coach that got him to start shooting them?
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Beautiful team basketball when it mattered. Of course, we've seen this before and usually at some point decide it's not for us, even against bad teams. Need to see it continue.

Scottie Barnes is so nice, that even when he learns the play the other team will run, he pretends he didn’t hear it. That’s sportsmanship.

I know it's a nothing game, but that is the Raptors 'tying to win' starters so I guess it kinda counts? Fun to see the passing, was clearly the focus going by everything forced early that ended in turnovers. More young dudes, playing D is in the regular season needs legs.

That was the best Dame had shot for a month. Had to feel good for him seeing the ball go through the basket. Hopefully it gets him going again.

Most importantly, he did it without overhandling the ball. Once the Bucks realized how ridiculous the Raptors were going to overhelp, the Bucks quickly got the ball to Giannis and let him playmake, and Dame was open off ball and coukd drive against no help.

Ajax with a really nice game. Bucks did a better job of finding him open in the lane, and actually made the passes in on time like they anticipated him being open for the 1st time. We get great shots out of those actions.

Throw in a few offensive rebounds and the great defense, and it's a really impactful game.

One of his very best, if not THE best game he's had as a Buck. It's flashes like this that has me hoping he can be a legit contributor going forward.

I did not have Norm McDonald showing up in my timeline this morning, but I'm better off for it.

Ok you guys are just being mean. Scottie Barnes is a perfectly fine young player that I'd love to have on my team.

*whispers* Jalen Suggs is better though

Whatever, whatever. Barnes is good. Surprisingly powerful player, tremendous feel for the game. Not his fault he has to share court with Kelly O'Lynnick (sp?).

See here's where you've been fooled. He is masking how good he really is. This helps Ja'Kobe Walter
