He's an absolute necessity because of Dames defense. Live with the growing pains. Who else would play tonight?

I just don't really think he is very good and the head on his shoulders will make it hard for him in the league unless he can fix that, I've seen enough of him to get a feel for his body language and faults. Disagree that he is a necessity in any capacity, he can be nice to have at times. Would rather just go with just about anyone else in the playoffs unless the matchup calls for it for a few stints, and that is not any of Dame's doing, we're typically better with anybody else next to Dame

So with 41 minutes, does Dame sit tomorrow and AJ Green comes in to replace him?

Great win. Giannis and Dame looking like the combination we were expecting the Sept afternoon we acquired Dame from Portland back in 23.

We still really struggle giving up offensive boards.

15-5 in favor of Utah tonight. It's only because of how bad Utah are that they only managed 9 2nd chance points, but it could have gone the way of the Clippers game if they were a better team.

Dame won't sit in Portland
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I feel like half of those happened in the last 2 mins when Utah was just jacking up 3s.

Sigh.

You mean the original deal posted by RiotPunch of Dame for FVV, Tari Eason and two firsts? Yes, I’d still do that deal in a heartbeat.I may not even need the two firsts.

Dame is untouchable unless you're getting an ALL Star back that plays better D, I think.

Picks are useless unless we're blowing it all up and trading GA for young talent and picks too. Wasting 3 GA years while some rookies develop will make him leave anyways -- trade demand.

Tari E was like 2 - 5 in 21 min the other day.. not really better than AJJ.. Not moving a needle so essentially it's Dame for FVV (slower worse version of Dame) straight up.. ridiculous

Nobody on this team has his combination on size quickness and jumping ability to play next to Dame. Both Trent and AJ are better shooters but we don’t need more shooter with the starting lineup now that Ajax is attacking in the dunker spot and actually dunking or passing to a wide open shooter for a 3 he is the best player to start and also our defense has steadily improved since he’s started. He’s young af he’s just going to get better as he learns how to play the game.

Tari Eason is 1.2 VORP while playing under 23 minutes a game. He's the 1 of the 2 most underutilized players in the game. He's actually more Wins Shares/48 than Dame. The Bucks could also land another great player if they had 2 more 1sts to deal.

If you don't respect Tari Eason, you don't know ball.

Vintage Khash game was nice to see. Obviously we gotta appreciate Giannis while he's still here, but this is why I said it's also important to appreciate these increasingly rare Khris moments while they last. Don't think we have too many left at this point, at least with him in a Bucks uniform.

It was nice to see, I agree, but I don't understand the so-long-old-man tone. Khris is 33. A bad age for Jesus but not so bad in the NBA in the current era.

Nor do I think he's likely to get traded out from under his favorite teammate, who views him as a big brother and has loyalty in his DNA.

Our perception of Middleton will always be colored by him suffering from George Gervin syndrome. To the extent that his game looks smooth and effortless, he appears not to be going all out. And why do we want a guy who doesn't go all out when Alex Caruso is running around like a windup toy?

That's the Middleton problem in a nutshell. Not saying you are susceptible to it, but many here are. May he wear the green and cream, or the blue, or whatever other color the greedy NBA jersey people come up with, for years to come.

Sid, no offense, but I don't think anyone has said Khris dogs it on the court. It's simply observations that his mobility has been impacted by all the injuries.

No offense taken, but it isn't just those recent observations, which of course have been related to injuries. It goes back to comments around his contract extension a few years ago, and even earlier than that. He's a 3X All-Star and there's no ring without him, but he just rubs some of us fans the wrong way.

You can appreciate/love a franchise legend for all that he's accomplished here, and be sad at the inevitability of his departure while still advocating for trading him if it improves the team's title chances this season. I'm not gonna be shamed into thinking I'm less of a fan of said player just because injuries, the human body, and Father Time are undefeated. Sorry, not sorry.
