i have been yapping about this, after Prince's hot start ended.
if he has to start and b next to Dame and G, just for his 8p, then its not worth it.
id prefer ajg and ajax to both start.
but doc would NEVER do that.
lets see if Kuzma starts of Prince.

Probably not a factor he's considering yet but Giannis needs to play in 24 of the remaining 33 games to be eligible for awards.

Add me to the camp that thinks it’s crazy we aren’t starting Green, and that we are starting Taurean Prince at SF in 2025.

Starting five should’ve Dame/GTJ or Green/Kuzma/GA/Lopez. Can’t start AJax and Kuzma together. To me Green and Trent are pretty comparable.

There's an upcoming Middleton bobblehead game too

I thought I saw/read (99% sure on these boards) that that giveaway had been postponed if not completely nixed days before the deadline.

Agreed that Green and GTJ are somewhat interchangeable in that they are both floor spacers that will play reasonable defense and they should split the 2 guard role. Kuzma may be more ideal as a small ball 4 than as a 3, but so is Prince and Kuzma is more athletic and more well rounded. And you just traded a legend for him so not starting him isn't a realistic option.

Bench guys I view as utility pieces like a bullpen.
Lead guard options: shared by Rollins and KPJ when you need ball handling and scoring punch
2/3 off ball wings: Trent as floor spacer, Ajax as an energy guy and chaos merchant, Pat - 5th wing depth
Tweener bigs: Prince is your 3/4, Bobby is your 4/5
Athletic presence is needed in front court/4th big: Sims

Minutes pecking order and most likely 9 man playoff rotation: Bobby, Trent, Prince, Rollins or KPJ (hopefully, has more raw skills)
Track athletes to run around impressively fast for 5-10 minutes: Ajax and Sims
Break glass when a warm body is needed: Pat

At least that's how I'd view it if I still played video games. That was a fun pointless exercise to work through with my morning coffee. I'm going on vacation next week so between that and the trade deadline, my focus is hanging by a thread (insert bad joke about Khris's knees and ankles).

Anyways Go Bucks

Is Charlie Villanueva, oops, Kyle Kuzma, possibly playing tonight?

Doesn't he sort of remind you of him? Yeah, he's a bit shorter, but the build, the play style.

Would be pretty hilarious if the Marjon/KPJ deal doesn't go through because of some technicality like us not submitting the paperwork to the league office in time. The cherry-on-top of an absolute masterclass Jon Horst trade deadline.

Unfortunately there’s a laundry list of reasons to feel salty right now. But I agree, Go Bucks!
