funny that the Bucks got out ahead of this immediately after that trade and were like, "No, yeah, we did extensive research and this works. yeah, no, playoff basketball is going more towards transition. trust us."

Be healthy in the playoffs and all bets are off.

all of our SGs seem matchup dependent except for KPJ. he should definitely be playing more minutes than all those guys.

Like with everything else that doesn't turn out, we're going to hear in the offseason that Horst never actually wanted Kuzma and that the trade was pushed because of Doc and Haslam.

He was 6 for 13. Was not the problem. Giannis had the same amount TOs as Kuzma.

I understood it when we were managing minutes, but I think even Kidd made it a point to never have a lineup without Khris or Giannis in it.

He created zero offense for anyone else unlike Giannis. He was essentially ignored by the Cavs defense unlike Giannis. Juuuuuuust a little different.

Everyone talking Cavs in round two. I’m hoping we escape round one.

My main takeaway is that this is a tough matchup for Brook, and that’s a theme against the top teams in the east.

It felt like most of the wide open shots Cleveland generated started with a pick n roll at the top where Brook would come high, and was then left in no man’s land because he was too slow to recover back to his man.

Then we’d rotate on the backend to stop the roller and there’d be a wide open 3.

Yeah no kidding. Indy or the Knicks in round 1. Hell, with the upcoming schedule we could be a play-in team.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I wouldn't be too down Bucks fans. It's a b2b, you guys got outscored 38 to 9 in bench points and you're missing your best bench scorer in Portis. Adding him back instead of only having GTJ and KPJ for bench production makes a big difference

In reality this team wasn't a contender before the deadline. People want to talk about needing a big three to contend but the NBA has shifted away from that.

It's tough to watch the second string. They play a spazz style of basketball that feels like a tier above summer league.

I would love to know how often Bucks possessions this season with Dame and Giannnis on the court end in ISOs.

I can’t answer that specific question, but we’re 7th as a team in isolation frequency.

Some notable teams in front of us: Boston (2nd), OKC (5th), Lakers (6th).

Boston isolates mismatches after a series of screens to find them. We don't make nearly the same effort.

The Sims acquisition has been a pleasant find, but also makes me furious.

He’s a min contract scrap heap type player who has had real stretches of making a difference. He’s also the type of big many here have been calling for for years, and yet we’ve just completely ignored it for the better part of 6 seasons.

Sims isn’t good enough to make Brook a DNP guy in the playoffs for bad matchups, but it also probably wouldn’t take someone all that much better than him to do so. It just kills me man.
