I hate that the team has killed my interest to the point where I never even thought of switching over to watch.

We're undermanned in the frontcourt ourselves. They actually had more true bigs they deemed usable than us - 3 to 2. We normally have 4. So that problem will partially resolve when Bobby &/or Sims return. Then we'll see how much it's still an issue.
Doc and his underling didn't deem Nance usable. I'm not a fan, but at least he's a big. I suspect this is a mistake.

I too had been wondering why they don’t try Nance

We have three players starting who's best position is the 4.

It's absolutely amazing. Won't hear much nationality on it, tho.MartyConlonOnTheRun wrote:It's subjective, but that is close to one of the all time stat lines where you consider volume and efficiency.

For those who think Giannis is in decline - he isn’t.

I like watching the Bucks win and I like watching Giannis. It's a privilege. I get that there's plenty to complain about, but the Bucks man. That's my team.

He's the best he's ever been, when he cares. The mid-range and passing has made him more unstoppable than ever on o. On D & the boards, it's just variable to how much he wants to exert energy and risk injury. That area's been inconsistent.
But the NBA Cup run is playoff Giannis. Just hope he's healthy this time. Then the Bucks should play Giannis in the high post w/ 4 out orbiting him, sometimes 1 in the dunker.

Nance is a 6'10" small forward perimeter player whose notable skill is 3-point shooting and who will play zero game-on-the-line playoff minutes.Bernman wrote:mediocrityrules wrote:Again our rebounding is a real weakness. The Bucks' roster has been fragmented by injuries and a disruptive (in a good way) trade deadline. Every game is a precious opportunity to build chemistry and cohesion. Devoting minutes to Nance, based on his career to date, would be a trivialous waste.

Gotta appreciate these kind of Giannis games when he’s still in his prime. We’ve also shot like, 55% on 3’s the past two games and barely beat two G-league squads lol. I don’t even know who’s more mentally checked out at this point. The players, or Doc.

Yep, dialed in 2025 Giannis is the best Giannis. It's actually pretty cool now that he can coast to like a 30/12/5 game. The only thing he's done better historically is his FTs, and as you say consistent defensive effort.
Can never not appreciate him.

Nance measured taller than both Sims & Portis at the combine. That's 2 of our 3 centers. He's an inch taller than Kuz. That's who we're playing as our 3rd big. When we didn't have a 3rd big earlier this season we cratered too.
The burden of proof's on the coach is to try a guy to see if he helps us. He was wrong about Sims too. Didn't play him initially, and we heard the excuses. Sims isn't good, but just offered something we need. If Nance doesn't, that's on Horst. But until then it's on Doc.
In the playoffs Sims and Bobby will be back, and playing those minutes. So we're not building chemistry in the interim. All Nance would be replacing until they return is space. We got a need, a need for seed.

I had the displeasure of watching the Herd last week. Nance would do nothing for our weakness on the glass. He's really narrow, another guy that can't box out. He can shoot 3s and dunk lobs, but the offense isn't the need right now.

Re: PG Sixers: Bucks Roll (Eventually)
Dude is just absurd and continues to show he has that BITW level in him. On a Warriors, Celtics, Spurs, Heat type org the guy should end his career like a 3-5x champ with an extra MVP or two and being widely recognized as a top 10 guy all time, and it pains me to no end we can’t give him that.

We don’t give Giannis enough love. Think about how many other NBA superstars would have started to check out in this mess and not give a crap. This guy just plays harder.

This team has always and will forever run through Giannis. Not through lame lilliard. Giannis just needs good pieces around him that wanna fit in And benefit from his greatness

I realize individual +- are not in full context but sometimes they stick out. Rollins -16 in 29 minutes. KPJ +31 in 17 minutes.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Thanks to both for making me look less like the only crazy person
Grats on the victory man, AJ has raised his 3p% from 39% to 40% (well 39.8%, I'll give you the dub though) from the argument I presented in this April game against the strongest tank since the original process.
You still are a nutjob, this type of stuff furthers that. But little victories, keep it up man, you're doing great! Might even be fridge worthy.

Anyways, watching Giannis dominate is always fun, no matter who it's against. Dude is indeed a freak.
