No sarcasm. Redd and Mo are the two absolutely worse starting guard tandum defensively in the league. Everyone scratching their head wondering what the problem is. It preimeter defense for starters. Redd and Mo choking down the stetch is the other.

This takes care of both. Beyond that Yi is being infected with this "me ball" jump shooting mentality. Stuckey and Aflalo both are tough mother ****, Redd has always been a pvssy!

Doesn't mean you trade Redd for garbage. I agree I would like to move him, but I absolutely guarantee we can get more than Afflalo (who will be lucky to stick in this league given his skillset) and Stuckey.

Some of you guys crack me up.

Amazing. So just because we lose Redd it's a good move?

He is our best asset, and someone actually thinks moving him for essentially junk is a good idea. Amazing.

I'm glad you're not the GM of this team. By your definition trading your highest trade value player for essentially no value is a great way to rebuild.

I resect that. I don't think Harris is a good GM either. The correct moves he has made have been at the urging of Kohl. Like drafting Yi.

You guys know the Piston board better than I. This is the only board I ever read. Go ask them if they would trade those guys and (and their number 1) and see if they'll do it.

Your original proposal didn't include the #1. That's point #1.

Secondly, the Pistons #1 is essentially worthless. Guaranteed contract for a player even if he doesn't turn into anything. See Afflalo.

This is a horrible deal and it's really just not debatable.

I agree, but Redd on that team could make or break that team. Make, have a scorer, Break, take to many shots and have the team get pisse off! Kill the chemistry!

Hey luke how are ya. I will say this as a general statement. Most guys on here get what the vibe is with a few posters, and they run with it. They are too afraid (or whatever) to have an original thought.

Not you. I have read many of your posts and you are one of the many good ones on here. But the board as a whole seems to always be in agreement for the most part.

Me? Heck, I look at it from purely a basketball point of view. IOW, how it affects us on the court. Not in salary cap, not in stats, not are we giving up too much, not because I may differ with a message board, but in meat and potaos. That is how I have always gone about sharing my opinion in cyber space.

This is just the latest in the UNF1's chronicles. In addition, I am calling all basketball minds.

Like I said, I'm all for trading Redd and think he should be moved. Him and Mo need to be split. I just think the proposal here is so low balled it's absolutely mindblowing. I can guarantee we can get a lot more than Stuckey and Afflalo for Redd.

He's more valued around the league than he is on this board.

Without looking, what do you suppose they will say. Did you add the draft pick?

I added the pick and a filler/expiring contract, because the salaries won't match up.

Very good point. But if GM's know about how terrible Gadz is, I suspect there are several who wouldn't give up a lot to get Redd.

Again, I hope this is sarcasm.

Redd for two guys who haven't done a thing in the NBA and neither of whom have star potential.

Good grief people.

I would like to move Redd as well, but in a deal that makes us better.

You think Stuckey doesn't have star potential? The Pistons turn this deal down flat, they don't do bad contracts anyway, so this is a non starter. Dumars is building for the future, not the present, Afflalo/Stuckey aren't going anywhere, especially not for a SG with a terrible contract. As a Piston fan I say no.

Billups, Redd, Hamilton, Prince, Rasheed?? I don't think Rasheed playing center is a smart idea. He's MUCH better at PF.

Rasheed plays center now, McDyess is the Pistons power forward, Tayshaun Prince as a small forward, he's not a PF. Redd would come off the bench for Detroit, Detroit's offense is built around Hamilton's skillset.

Yeah, I forgot about Mcdyess, thanks for clarifying that. I knew this trade wouldn't work for you guys, you have no use for Redd. You have a better version of him in Rip.

You're a fan, not a GM. The above comments are delusional. The Pistons might not do it, but not because of talent, but because they have no need for Redd. There is ZERO chance the Bucks even offer it, that is the main point.

None.
