Yessir! It's great that they scheduled this so early in the year. It'll really dictate mock draft talks going forward.

What did you see from Embiid that no one else did? The inexplicable 3 he almost banked from the top of the key? I would feel weird saying his name in the same breath as the other three after tonight.
I really don't think Self is doing Wiggins any favors tossing him on the low block and not even moving him around while Randle and Parker were really highlighted and utilized heavily. I think Wiggins still has the highest ceiling of the three but he probably wouldn't make as good an NBA player right now as the other two.
Really impressive night for all three of them.

His athleticism is a little dicey to me and while he could very well end up Paul Pierce, the list of guys without elite athleticism that weren't as good in the league is much longer. I also didn't like a few of his shots.

He's a better athlete than pierce IMO. His athleticism isn't really a concern, he's huge and explosive while still being coordinated. Excellent footwork too. He took some questionable shots in the 2nd half, but he's still a young guy, that can be improved upon. He can score from anywhere on the floor in a variety of ways and shows excellent ability to wad defenses and adapt. Great floor game and IQ. Theres virtually no way he isn't a big time scorer in the NBA who is a good passer.

He has certainly had some highlight plays but Pierce did too. I don't think of him as explosive. I also dislike the midrange J and he LOVES 'em. Which is probably where some of my Pierce talk stems from. I'd have to see his shot chart but it seems to be like he settles a lot just so he can have the shot. I certainly don't think of his as a great passer. I mean he had the ball on most possessions (unlike Wiggins who spent time on the block doing nothing - put it together Bill Self) and ended up with one assist. Seems like a shoot first point forward. Maybe Gordon Hayward.
Either way, I don't think his ceiling is anywhere near Wiggins or even Randle.
