Tony Parker, Goran Dragic & Rajon Rondo are all unrestricted free agents next summer. Kemba Walker, Ricky Rubio & Patrick Beverly are open for offer sheets if they don't sign extensions. All may be pipe dreams, but with Jason Kidd at the helm, who knows? Their mere possibility is more enticing than anything on the marker this summer (aside from maybe Bledsoe) Let's not blow our load on a guy like Vasquez.

Jason Kidd should come out of retirement and be our back up PG before Vasquez

I think $6-$7 million per year on a 3 year deal would be a great value for Vasquez. That should be the determining factor for signings. It's way better value than Bledsoe at max and I can't even believe we're seriously discussing Lin here.

No way. He's a 20-25 minute a game backup, that is a huge overpay for our team. We shouldn't be paying over like $4 million a year for those type of backups.

I think he's a starter on the Bucks with like 30 minutes per game and good for 10/3/8.

If that's all you are expecting from him playing 30 mins a night , damn don't we just roll with Wolters then.I can't see how he couldn't bring u those same stats playing 30 mins.10/3/8 to me isn't all that impressive for a guy making 6 mil.as our starting og

Anything more than 3 or 4 mil per and it better be for a guy who either has upside or gives us some very tangible future benefits. Or a guy who makes us a winner right now. Anything else is a waste of money and a deal that limits our ability to make better moves later.

Unless we're getting some legit assets back, the only kind of point guard we should get is a cheap back up like Kendall Marshall, Brian Roberts, etc.

Im good with Henson and/or Knight for Bledsoe. Wouldn't give a 1st. Dont want Vazquez at all. Would be good with Lin if we can extract an asset.

I could easily see Ersan headed to the Suns as part of a package for Bledsoe.

Unless they are signing Bosh or Carmelo they will badly need a stretch 4 to replace Frye.

I think the final call is between 3 men, the new owners and Kidd not Hammond.

If they were able to get Bledsoe and it turns out to be a sign and trade, I hope they wouldn't give up Knight. I think a backcourt of Bledsoe and Knight is intriguing. It's undersized, but they both can get to the basket and are built like mini bulls. I could live with a 4 guard rotation of Knight/Bledsoe/Mayo/Wolters.

Bledsoe is one of the best defensive PGs in the league. Having Kidd who was also a great defensive point guard, coaching him would be awesome.

Wow guys - kinda shocked at how some if u guys are valuing Henson / ersan / knight. If anyone wanted any of these guys, there would have been deals done I'm a draft night.

And what happened to rebuilding this thing the right way? If u can grab lin and a future 1 / young player u do it. Outside of that - roll w what we have, hope our garbage vets rebound so we can trade them for expiring contracts or future 1s At the trade deadline.

If were serious about building a contender we need one more terrible year, and to unload some of our terrible deals. Focus here guys!

Adding a guy like bledsoe is absolutely building the right way.

I think Bledsoe is a shade under a James Harden like acquisition. I think he's a hell of a player who is worth accelerating that rebuild for. Players like him don't make it to free agency at this age very often. I think if you're looking at a Wiggins/Parker type draft pick you might balk, but to me I think this team could be around that 5-6 pick area and I'd rather have Bledsoe and like 10-16 then 5 or 6.

What about:

Ersan/2016 top 10 protected 1st and a 2nd for Bledsoe
Linn + 2016 1st for whatever helps them clear space

You get Bledsoe for Ersan and swapping firsts in '16.

Gery covering himself, because he can't be wrong on both Lin and Bledsoe. Only one can happen.

I think you make both moves if you can make it happen under the cap. I think that teams will be clamoring for the Lin expiring nearer to the deadline. I think that if you have to tier the deals that you absolutely do Bledsoe over all other things. Lin and prospects for cap space would be the second deal. I want nothing to do with Vasquez.

Wow. The Bledsoe love is a little ridiculous on here. IMO Bledsoe is much closer to a Brandon Knight level of player than a James Harden level of player. I think we'd regret bringing him in on a max deal - and doing so while giving up most of our available assets (i.e. Knight and Henson) is lunacy.

Bledsoe is so far beyond Knight as a player I think it's crazy to even compare them.

If Houston misses out on melo is be down for trading ersan for linsanity. It would balance our roster better and we would be taking on a shorter contract. I think it would be a good move especially if we are tanking again next year
