He'll be 34 when this contract ends and has missed 80 games the last three seasons. This summer was suppose to be his big pay day.

I had the same thought initially but I think it's a solid move for veteran leadership. Kings will not suck this year.

I dunno, team still looks pretty damn awful.

Hill/Fox/Mason
Heild/Richardson
Bogdanovic/Jackson
Skal / Giles
WCS/ Koufos/ Pap

A lot of unknowns, but I like their backcourt I'm high on Fox and hield , Bogdan would be a great 6th man. Zach is strange because the team is young and fast and he plays slow Mo, but he's a great guy a good player. They may just keep Hill for one year then flip him for a first, he's a valuable asset and could play next to Fox as well.

That team looks like 25-30 wins to me.

Pels really **** up waiving Casspi last year. Would've had his bird rights but they gambled because he was injured and they wanted to make the playoffs.

Golden State, one year deal...

Wonder what it takes to now get Ante Zizic. Sure a smart team would look into that.

Celtics need to make some trades.

Can guarantee you we're sitting pat.

Doesn't this hinder the development of Tatum and Brown and potentially next years top pick? Don't get me wrong he is a good player but not a needle mover. I doubt he even gets them to a 6 game series with Cleveland. I guess I don't see the point of drafting a bunch of young forwards and signing Heyward. They are in a great position no doubt but I feel like they need to go all in now or play for the future. It seems like they are trying to do both.

I am jealous of how well managed and coached they are though. They truly put the Bucks to shame in that regard.

So brutal for Jazz. Feel really bad for them.

I don't think you realize how good Hayward is.

4 years from now, that'll be changed to "Thank You, Milwaukee" and written in Greek.

That is possible I have not watched a ton of Jazz games. To me he seems like just a step above Middleton caliber of player which is very very good but still not special.

Honestly hate when players do this. You have a fanbase in Utah where you can be a legend and you leave for a big market where your just a guy. And in the process act like you care about the fans when in reality you don't. If you did you'd easily accept more money to stay in Utah. The way the NBA is going really sucks with all these players teaming up. Honestly turning me way more into a NFL & MLB fan

Yep. Heyward seemed like he loved Utah too and he still left to compete for a title. And Utah doesn't even have an incompetent front office with meddling owners.
