This is not blatant cheapness. How do you guys not understand that Brogaon DOES NOT WANT TO BE IN MILWAUKEE? Why do you guys seriously want to pay a guy all that money who you know is going to be a malcontent and probably be a liability to the team?

Wonder how much Brogdon wanted to be a point guard?

No, I think it was really good.

Guess we're pretty alone on that island but I feel very confident with that take. We got a big return for a guy who wanted out and we weren't going to bring back.
I'm on that island, as well.

I don't know what this means but I enjoyed the visual it elicited.

I asked myself, what would my grandpa say if he read through this thread.

Honestly, losing Brogdon sucks and I understand the frustration. But lets at least wait 48 hours and see what Horst has done when the dust settles. There are still a lot of teams who are looking to deal.

Once again Matt Velasquez proves that being the mouthpiece for the FO means absolutely nothing when you're actually looking for news.

Brogdon was an absolutely essential dude to keep with this group. Don’t let anyone here or on twitter convince you we’ll be able to replace him with Johnathon Simmons or whoever the ****.

So basically they traded an asset for a bunch of assets that could potentially bring back another asset comparable to the one they originally traded. If they find a trade partner, it's a lateral move, and that's assuming the return is equal enough to Brogdon. If they can't find a trade partner, you just squandered your #4 guy in the rotation JUST SO THE OWNERS DON'T HAVE TO PAY THE TAX.

I thought it was good too. AS you said, Brogdon didn't want to be in Milwaukee and they now create a TPE to land a FA.

If he doesn't come back in the palyoffs, he doesn't get what he just got. He would be stuck in Milwaukee, or play somewhere else for far less than what he would in Milwaukee. Only a fool would sit out. His playoffs is what got him the extra cash.

and picks! Use those both for Josh Richardson. Gives us the replacement we need and gives Miami more room to obtain Butler. I'm going to say it into existence!

It’s sort of sad to watch him pose questions on twitter. “I wonder what the Bucks are doing?” “What does this mean?”

This is hogwash...there's a good possibility Malcolm wanted to move on. At that point it's dumb to try and force a guy into a situation he didn't want to be in.

This. I hate the "well the Bucks were in control" card. He prob didn't want to be here and maybe they weren't comfortable paying him that much regardless. They compromised by getting a huge TPE and picks. I'll take that.

And just like that we are worse next year. Don’t be thinking we’re a given to come out of the east.
