That's a hefty price tag for Covington. Not good news for us.

Even if Houston weren't blowing it up, that's too good a deal for Covington to pass up IMO.

They're blowing it up. What is Harden going to do with washed Ariza and two draft picks lol

Dame/CJ/Roco/Collins/Nurk is a hell of a lineup. Probably a 2nd round exit (maybe WCF if Collins takes a leap?) but that's a legit 50-55 win team right there.

I like what they have a lot too, but I think they are still a guy light. They need to hit hard on some vet min guys and buyout guys.

I get the feeling Houston is in for years and years of pain with Fertita at the helm. It’ll be interesting to see what they can extract from Brooklyn for Harden.

Harden to Nets is a certainty unless philly offers up Simmons. The east was due for another top heavy superteam
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

Harden is under contract for 3 more years. Why on earth would the Rox trade him for 4 bench guys?

I dont understand how this is even a thing. Dinwoodie, LeVert, DJ, that's 40m a year for your 6, 7, and 8. You dont get to grab MVP candidates for your B squad.

If I'm WAS after seeing what we just gave for Jrue I don't know how they don't try to get a boatload from Bos, BKN, or Philly. If they hold our deal up as the benchmark they should be able to do very well. But this is WAS so I'm sure they think they can win it all now that Wall is back

Yep, they are totally going to roll out their current squad assuming Wall is the same guy from five years ago. They'll be at the bottom of the standings and trade Beal for like two seconds and a bench player at the deadline to the Celtics.

I think I read the last two years are some type of player option that he threatened to decline if they don't trade him. Such an ego move to get everything you ask for in Houston including ridiculous pay and your buddies then bail demand a trade when it doesn't work out.

I mean, that same package is gonna be there for you at the trade deadline. No idea why the Rockets think they'd have to bend over backwards to accommodate cry-baby James like this. The Pelicans didn't with AD and they eventually got a king's ransom from the Lakers. Selling him for whatever paltry picks and prospects the Nets can cobble together would be organizational incompetence at the highest level.

Although to be fair when my inner Bucks pessimist was contemplating a Giannis trade, Dinwiddie/Levert/Jarrett Allen/picks didn't sound too shabby, and you'd get to ruin Lebron's last few years at the same time. Who are the Nets giving up, I couldn't find it.

Rockets had a good run.

Won’t miss their style of play but feeling for their fans.

Yeah but Brooklyn is going to be absolutely unbearable to watch now, and we're in the same conference/will have to watch them more. Lol.
