Maybe Bledsoe and pick 24?

Better pick but much more salary and Green/Bledsoe are pretty equal in player impact

That’s what I’m saying. It just doesn’t make sense. That’s better than the reported 28th pick and green.

No, I think it's worse.

Pick 24 and 28 are pretty similar in this draft.

Green is an easier and more valuable asset to flip right now.

OKC would have to eat a couple years of Bleds salary for him to be full expiring.

Is 2 years of not being first round fodder sustained success?

We could trade Bledsoe at the trade deadline, but I don't think we can go into playoffs next year with him as our starting pg.

I know I give Horst a hard time, but I will acknowledge that he's in a very tough situation. A situation he helped situate, but still.

I was being a bit hyperbolic, but this core still needs improvement.

People in here all negative because we haven’t won anything yet and prepared for the worst because they’re “Wisconsin sports fans” while inside I’m just excited we’re a good team. Who knew there were multiple ways to think?

Apparently going up 2-0 on the eventual champs in the ECF and losing in the 2nd round to the team that went to the finals in the weirdest postseason ever while having the best record in the NBA two years in a row is just "not first round fodder" to some people. The negativity is kind of sad and pathetic.

Horst's biggest mistake was making the team so good so fast, and with so little to work with outside of Giannis and to a lesser extent Khris, that anything less than a title became a disappointment within just 2 short years of the Kidd/Prunty era. And some people swear they have perspective and are being rational.

Bucks have been linked so far just with good role players. Bogdan, RoCo, Schroder, Tucker, Barnes etc. I don't think that any of them alone moves the needle. But two could put Milwaukee on top.

Trade 1

S/T Bogdan (4y/72mil/starting salary 19.5/declining) for Ersan, DDV, Wilson

Trade 2

Bucks in RoCo
Bucks out Bledsoe, #24

Houston in Randle, #24, #27
Houston out RoCo

Knicks in Bledsoe
Knicks out Randle, #27

Add whatever 2nds to make them both work

Hill
Bogdan
Middleton
Giannis
Brook
6th RoCo

Oh give me a break with this negative bs. I asked a simple question. Do you or Horst know what sustained means?

The Bledsoe decision could end up costing him his job. No idea what he was thinking there. To think he could've just let him walk...And now he is having to fix something he created. Good luck finding someone to take him that isn't desperate.

Bledsoe is on a value contract. If anything he’s an asset in the right situation

Doesn't Giannis hate Harden? Hate to pair them together and then Giannis just leaves.

Reminds me of Hammond for getting credit for getting rid of his own mistakes.

To be fair, the owners are business people. They are probably acutely aware of how much more valuable the franchise is with Giannis on the Supermax. It will be worth it for them financially to go deep into the luxury tax if they have to in order to get Giannis to stay

This board cracks me up but that's just fandom. Some fans are negative all the time, some are homers. This team isnt far off, but it's a little clunky.

If we change out Bledsoe then I'd like to see Jrue if we could swing it. If we keep Bledsoe I'd pair him with Bogdon if possible. Sign someone like Gallinari, Wes, etc

They won't make any large decisions without running it past Giannis first.

Does anyone else think Harden is literally the perfect player to pair with Giannis? I know it's impossible and they don't get along, but strictly basketball speaking. Harden solves every single end of game problem for who takes the last shot, who can get to the line and make the free throws, and it would completely change the dynamic of walling off Giannis. Imagine a Giannis and Harden pick and roll.
