Embiid has been surrounded by absolute dysfunction his entire career, never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs, and has all but openly complained about his situation through not-so-subtle social media posts. And yet it's only really the last 2-seasons where he's finally getting talked about as a "when does he ask out?" guy, and only at a fraction of what has surrounded the Giannis dialogue the last 5-years. I don't know how you could pay attention to the NBA and not notice this.

Can't love Giannis enough. Extended. Put his stamp of approval on the Dame move. You can't ask for a better team at this point, the front office and ownership has given him everything he could want. Horst absolutely slayed this offseason. You could quibble about the last 4 roster spots, but the guys who are going to see the floor in the playoffs are impressive.

Anyone still mad Thanasis is taking up the 15th roster spot? Lol

The NBA has the biggest joke of mainstream media coverage in any major sport. It’s pathetic. These main media guys barely understand or appreciate the game of basketball, and they treat the league like it’s a high school popularity contest.

Yup. The sports fan in general is getting dumber. Social media effect. Rather be first than right. Rather talk Taylor Swift or "where will Lebron end up" than X's and O's. The sheer number of "casuals" is at an all time high. And the media feeds them what they want.

Lol I was only half-joking, but it's still funny to me that I was half-right.

Underrated comment here. As long as Giannis stays, so does Thanasty. He'll end up like our version of Haslem.

For all those complaining about Thanasis occupying the end of the bench... have a seat.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Small Thanasis statue next to the overtly large Giannis one :peace:'

Statue should be him committing hard foul or behind a desk with glasses looking at spreadsheet

The ranks of playing GM's just grew from just being Lebron, to now Lebron and TA.

Worst 5 Real GM Bucks Takes:

- Joe Alexander is a gym rat and loves basketball and will be a star

- Herb Kohl should sell to Michael Jordan, he knows the league and will be a good owner

- You can’t teach seven foot and mobile, Thon Maker is going to be a star

- Its going to be fun to have Gus Johnson as a local announcer, and I can’t see his schtick getting old

- Its the worst nepotism to keep Thanasis on this team, and serves us no purpose
