Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
I get that Chucky has been good at being the floor general out there but I can't imagine him being this much of a zero on offense every game was ever the plan.

He shot like 40% from 3 last year on a ton of shots and doesn’t take some when they are there.

Wahl trying to post up Eddy and score is a choice.

I sure wouldn’t want to be the team that drafts Edey

Occasionally if he’s got a bunch of room it’s decent to try to sneak around the giant, but like 2 or 3 times here he has gone in there without that benefit and it’s not going well.

He will be mid-late 2nd round and likely will be just like Tacko Fall type career.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
It’s nice to be Purdue and scheming up long 2s and fallaway layups after getting the defense off balance because you know Edey is down there somewhere.

I don't think anyone has any delusions about Edey being an NBA player. Likely including Edey himself.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
That sequence after the Edey missed FT and Klesmit with an uncharacteristic miss is the dagger.
I like what we did, it almost worked. I think we basically were instructed to hack Edey if he had any sort of a chance at the rim with the 1-1 bonus and game slipping away.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
Honestly, I thought they played it pretty well today. Schemed well against Edey, very few turnovers. Purdue just made tougher shots early in the game.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
As much as AJ Storr has helped the overall offense, he tends to take a lot of questionable shots in key situations.
Overall, guard play today was just not good.

It's really odd. He has open pull up 3PA looks and instead dribbles 2 feet inside the arc, stops, and waits for help. Especially later in the clock makes no sense.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
After that steal, Chucky should’ve just pulled up for 3. Knew damn well he wasn’t gonna make that layup.
