One of the reasons I think Dame is grossly overrated (other than the fact he doesn't even try on defense) is that he takes a lot of tough/low% shots when it is completely unnecessary.

His mentality is, why drive to the basket for an easy 2 or get fouled when I can force up a really cool 3pt shot from 5 feet behind the line.

I hope to hell we trade his overrated ass this off-season.

Really? 1-4 and 5 rebounds isn't great, but a disaster? Agenda?

No agenda. Portis fumbled a rebound out of bounds, cooked a layup, had three turnovers, got lost on defense multiple times. He had a terrible half.

I see one turnover and second on the team in rebounding. Again, not great, but to pick him out of all the players doesn't make sense to me.

The offense while not great is not the big problem. The defense has been bad for quite a while. Needs to change.

Nobody said he is useless, but when they try to push the mvp/face of the league narrative, "above average in everything" is not enough

nobody needs an agenda to tell you portis stinks. the numbers speak for themselves. hes one of the least efficient scorers on the bucks. hes got a negative OBPM and DBPM. hes not a valuable player.

Didn't say useless, in fact I'm not quoting anybody on that , plenty of guys just don't like his game , I'd take him on my team!

They don't count the bad pass to Middleton late in the shot clock after a failed post up or the ball he couldn't grab on the seal after he missed the layup at the end of the half. You're focused on people saying he had a bad half. Others have also pointed out that Gallo, Pat C, Brook and Beas had tough halves.

I don't hate how we played defense. It didn't work well because Boston makes a lot of shots but our offense really irked me. When we started working the shot clock and moving the ball, we got back in the game. Every time we took bad shots or turned the ball over, Boston punished us.

Denver beats Boston because they play really smart offense. We need Dame and Middleton to be poised and control the game on O

Multiple passes and a Beasley open three. The sign of a great Bucks possession.

Been there, refuted all that a few weeks ago. I'm out on this. Shame on Horst for not trading him for that guy or in the alternative he should just release him. I wonder if anyone would pick him up.

Ah, now that Jrue is a Celtic they're ready to say he's unarguably the best perimeter defender in the league

Same player. Tim Thomas would be an MVP candidate if he played today.
