People will say I'm wrong, but betting against Giannis is a losing proposition.

I believe it. I also believe every team in the league will be shooting 53 threes a game by the time he retires.

Probably by winning the draft lottery and then drafting him. Unfortunately that would be about the only way.

The Cavs are just as good as Boston and we’ve got them on Friday the 20th, which apparently is our next game after Tuesday against Orlando. Seriously, ten days between games? That can’t be right.

Grief had the same players. He was fired for incompetence. Wasn't exactly setting a high bar. Yet they were great in the clutch & Doc's been bad over samples across 2 seasons.

It is unequivocally his fault he doesn't leave Brook on the bench when he can't match-up. Then he should dissuade Giannis from shooting a 3 at the end, Dame taking an iso step back, firing coming around a screen w/ no opening & having few sets.

I agree with the Brook thing. But I just dont think in this instance we can blame Doc for those terrible shots.

The “I am 30 years old today, I just said I want to be MVP, and now I’m going to hit the game-winning three to give SportsCenter some juice” moments don’t happen every day. Onward.

Amen. If you want to win more games maybe you should listen more to others. Take the 3. You will miss 72% of the time. Grest odds.

Posters here are conflating the term selfish with bbiq. They are two different aspects of a player.

Giannis is definitely not selfish. It's idiotic to say that, as it shows a poster's bbiq. Him taking an ill advised three pointer wasn't smart, but he thought it was a good shot and had confidence in it.

Yesterday's game was one where the Celtics played Giannis straight up for the most part. He should have been MORE SELFISH in my view. He should have gone to the line a lot more.

I also think he's a smart player, but that's a different issue.

I wish KM would shoot 10 threes per game.. he should take the Beasely role (with some decent poat D mixed in) and we won't lose a playoff series

If BP had his regular percentage, they win the game.

The Celtics are built for the modern 3 point game. Switchable defenders who can all shoot. The Bucks are built around two and a half superstars.

I want KM taking the Beasely role catch/shoot instead of trying to force Dame into the Beas role

Chicken or the Egg.

Do we have a low BBIQ coach who can't get through to his stars?

Or do we have stars who are unreachable on this matter?

Dame likely doesn't think that any 3 he shoots in crunch time is a bad shot.. personally I think he should take it inside (drive) at that point to increase the chances that we get points on that possession by either closer shot, freethrows or both. We were either up 1 or down 1 at that point so rushing a leaning 3 isn't necessarily.. if he was hoping for a foul.. we know the ref wasn't calling that ... we got lucky the even gave that call the KM

Because the Jerk Store called, and they're out of Horfords. That and the Giannis throwdown on the inbounds play earlier tell you who Al Horford is. As much as his father Tito deserved to be loved in Milwaukee for his goofy Thanasis-like basketball skills, Al deserves some Milwaukee FUs, and payback day will come.

And, unlike us, they are smart enough to run clock with a lead.. Jrue running away from the intentional foul wasted like 6 seconds ... that's a possession or 2 at that time of the game.

If we had brains we could beat anyone, I think.

Bucks vs Celtics ECF.
Both teams fully healthy.
Bring it on and let's put it to rest.

Dame needs to stop taking hero ball 3's in the clutch and take it to the rack like against houston or get a midrange look. Haven't seen him hit a late 3 all year iirc.

He is not selfish. I want him with the ball in his hands late in games. Just play to your strengths and get good looks. Same with Dame. If its not there keep moving it. None of this crap of just pounding the ball and taking crappy shots.

Bobby on 21 minutes 18 Reb outrebounded Giannis + Brook Lopez on 76 minutes (16=11+5)
And Bobby shot better than Khris. 4/15 > 2/10
Let that sink in from a 12M per year player.
Cut the Bobby hate its irritating
