I think if Dame comes back and looks like Dame, a young scorer, a decent vet wing that isn’t old and a lotto pick would be a welcomed trade.

No, probably post-Achilles, but that's part hindsight. The foresight is I wanted the DeAaron Fox trade. I bet something close to that would have been available at the time, and it's a heck of a lot better than the package for KD.

Think its a pretty fair trade, maybe a down the round first light, but fine enough. I think houston will actually miss Brooks, but he wasnt a deal stopper. Much needed type of player for them.

Probably best deal available if KD was really stuck on those teams. Think Minnesota could have beaten that price but if he’s not willing to go, it is what it is. I don’t imagine Miami couldve gotten close

Feel like many here would be fine with a KPJ, Brooks, Williams, Giannis, Portis lineup with the 10 pick to build depth, keeping all our other bench guys, and then having the 5 second round picks to swing on or trade.

Phoenix tried, commendable but unsuccessful despite multiple coaches. They’ve eaten a ton of money. Get what you can for Beal, but I would also be thinking hard about dealing Booker for infinite picks too to replenish what was sold. Why delay the inevitable when the eating could be good now?
