Woelful may have been right about Houston being out of the mix.

His ceiling thus far for trades has been the Salmons trade which was a ridiculously great trade for the Bucks.

That may be his ceiling but it's a bit of an outlier and it ultimately led to a bad signing.

If Curry is healthy right now, We wouldn't be trading him away. lol.

I laugh at your expectations or rather your lack of capacity for having long-term franchise success expectations.

No idea

Woelfel said something about Jennings for a good big and not over 26.

It's obviously Dwight.

The decision to re-sign Salmons doesn't negate the greatness of the Salmons trade in my opinion. Those were two separate personnel moves.

More relevant, though, is the fact Hammond has never traded the best player on his roster before. So there's really no precedent involved in terms of accurately predicting what kind of return he may get for Bogut. This is a whole new ballgame for Hammond and the Bucks (who rarely trade away their best players; Ray was the last one dealt).

Yeah that's what I'm lacking all right - the inability to expect long-term success for this team. Good call there on your part.

The Salmons trade wasn't even a great deal, it was a complete no brainer. A **** puppet would've made that deal.

And that worked out great, right?

Cause Kohl's record as an owner and Hammond's record as a GM sure make one trust their supposed NBA expertise ...

If you really do think that Salmons trade was great for the future of our franchise and not for a short second half of season stretch, then yeah - I think it's a great call on my part.

LOL, what a truly ridiculous thing to say to try to combat a lost argument. You said his ceiling was trading crap for crap, you were corrected. Whether Salmons was given an extension the next year is completely irrelevant to the evaluation of that trade, which was fantastic to the Bucks as a trade in isolation. That's another discussion entirely.

Have you read this board? When Salmons was signed two offseasons ago, I was CERTAINLY in the minority as it pertained to my hatred of the Salmons signing. So, to be fair, the whole, "capacity for having long term franchise success expectations" is pretty damn relative.

Anyone who says that trade didn't work out, is in full denial.

Where did I say the Salmons trade was great for the future of the Bucks' franchise. Please point that out in the post I made.

I suspect they were told to take their crap and try to sell it elsewhere lol. More a retreat than a back away I'm guessing.

The reality of the situation is that Hammond very well might hold the fate of this franchise staying in Milwaukee with a couple decisions he makes this week....I have no faith he will make the correct choice.

Lost argument? What the hell are you talking about? Salmons WAS crap! He just happened to play out of his mind for like 30 games for us. Then Hammond signed him to a huge deal and he reverted back to his usual crap self. At which point Hammond did his thing and traded crap-for-crap.
