That may be true, but he did played shaq and steven hunter. Also why would the knicks even get him if they weren't planning to use him. I'm sure walsh speak with pringles before signing him.

They are just trying to reassure themselves. When you passed up on a guy that is going to be a star for...Jordan Hill I think it was? Yeah. I'd want to jump off the Empire State Building as well. Haven't really read what any other teams fans have said, just getting a kick out of the delusional Knicks fans. They're terrible, they know it but are in complete denial.

Isn't Detroit pretty much the sh*t-hole of America these days? I saw houses for sale in Detroit on eBay for like 2 grand.

Edit: Not surprised that Snakebites is one of the few who show any real common sense on the topic.

I see the Pistons as a 35+ win team without chemistry. If our chemistry builds up by a little, you're looking at a 45+ win team. If the chemistry builds up significantly where they won't lose a 20 pt lead in the third quarter, then you're looking at a 50+ win team.

LOL.

Pretty much. I can't believe I read that a DETROIT fan is taking shots at another city. Detroit. Where going to the store to get groceries is a life threatening situation.

*realize I responded to a post almost a month old, was just browsing this thread and saw this one

Ladies and Gentleman, Timofey Mosgov.

I personally don't see the problem with this thread. Considering that the Knicks are in desperate need of a center, I would trade him for Monroe, George, Aldrich, Henry, and maybe Davis. Timofey is an interesting prospect itself.

There were several people in the thread who said they wouldn't even consider trading Mosgov for any of those guys without any of them playing an NBA game, not one of them. That's what was wrong with the thread.

There was never a suggestion made that he wasn't an interesting prospect, the suggestion was that only an epic homer wouldn't trade him for any one of those guys. As several fans said in the thread. Clear?

Having Randoph and Amare should be the only players written in pen. The rest pencil. I ultimately would like to see mext season:

Amare Stoudamire
Anthony Randolph
Carmelo Anthony
JR Smith - Next year free agent for midlevel
Jason Kidd - via trade

Sadly I couldn't as the only decent defender plays my position. I'm a decent size PG but Kidd would eat my lunch :D

Some Bulls fans still think they can get Melo without including Noah and that the Nuggets will also take Deng off their hands. Homerism does bad things to the brain.

If Melo is coming to the Bulls, Deng would have to go to Denver. He's the only tradeable player on the Bulls with a large enough salary. The only other deal that might work would be Rose + Noah + Gibson + Johnson, which obviously isn't happening.

Cliff Levingston agrees that Deng + Taj + Johnson + picks is a long shot, but there's really no reason for the Bulls to offer Noah. The upgrade for Deng to Carmelo isn't as large as the downgrade from Noah to Asik/Thomas and we lose the heart and defensive anchor of our team. We'd basically be Miami Heat lite, with each one of our big 3 not being as good as Miami's big 3 while also having a worse supporting cast, especially at center.

So, if you're going to look at it in isolation, then yea, not trading Noah and Deng for Melo is stupid. Look at it from the team perspective and it becomes a whole lot different.

Wow.

Him and 'Air Up There' are by far the most impressive dunkers I have ever seen. I think Air Up There is slightly more impressive, but it's pretty close.

It's the fact that he constantly offers up his own opinion in the 3rd person that gets me

homerism to me isnt necessarily because they think they can pull off a huge rip off trade, it does happen there are tons of idiot GMs. its the crazy overrating of players on your team that is laughable, like knick fans saying randolph is untradable for ANYONE or raptor fans thinking bargnani is the 2nd best center in the nba after howard. people are just idiots and dont watch other teams besides their own and the lakers.

also that dunk video is pretty entertaining, if we didnt already have an awesome mascot id say hire him to be bango

Why does Cliff Levingston always post in the the third person narrative?

I like Cliff Levingston too. I just don't have the same affinity for his NBA team of choice.
