How about OJ Mayo for Lamb and their first?

Would you guys rather have Lamb or Jackson?

Lamb, especially if mayo is going out. Mayo wouldn't nab both Lamb and their first and unlikely to nab even just Lamb.

Yay pointless trade ideas.

Obviously not.

To make it work, Perkins would have to be part of the trade.

So, ya, 1st round pick(s) would be going to MLK.

Seriously? Maybe Olapido and Vuc for Henson and our first. Maybe both are equally outrageous.

Nahhhh. Lamb is easily worth taking on Perkins while giving up as mediocre a player as Mayo, no picks are really necessary. I don't think they even do Lamb/Perkins for Mayo.

I'll take either one. Jackson is the more complete player today, however. He's a legitimate candidate to start on most teams in the NBA - especially, weaker East Conference teams. IMHO, OKC would be extremely reluctant to give up their star back-up PG. He's simply too valuable for what they do and, particularly considering Westbrook is fresh off an injury.

So, that leaves us with Lamb who gives us something that seems to be an ongoing theme amongst us - size and length with upside. He's shown an increased shooting efficiency this year paired with better decision-making. There's no way Mayo would net us a first rounder in addition to Lamb. If anything, we'd have to throw in one of our 2nd round draftpicks and maybe more.

Definitely equally outrageous. I'm just curious where Afflalo ranks among fans right now. Not terribly high apparently (and I agree with that).

OKC really can't afford Mayo.

Don't see why they couldn't, I don't think they really want Mayo though.

I'm sure Afflalo would rank pretty high on a contender or a playoff team but he just wouldn't make sense for the Bucks.

They probably would want Middleton first. Cheaper, does what they need and is bigger. Take a first for him? I like Middleton, but I wonder if a first is better value in our draft.

Please explain. Are you saying Lamb and Adams has a ton more value than Mayo and Ilyasova?

Really though, what about Mayo's game mixed with his contract makes anyone believe Mayo has value?

No way in hell OKC would give up on two young guys who will likely be better than their older counterparts in Ersan/Mayo within two years time.

They're both on rookie contracts, they both can already play a role, and the Thunder don't have cap space anyways.

The Thunder are one of the few teams that recognize Arsen's value, but they're also one of the few teams that would have Mayo in a bench role. Mayo, while better than Perkins, is still making a lot for the role he'd play for them.

The Thunder's cap situation would only get worse, and they'd lose most of their growth from within potential.

Oh ya, maybe both picks, too.

Perkins awful contract is a huge negative value... Mayo as the 3rp option in OKC would be excellent. He'd probably have a .550 ts%

Someone on the Lamb thread on the trade board posted:

Mayo & Udoh

for

Perkins, Lamb 2014 1st.

I think this is fair...
