Thanks to the player option, he has to consent to any trade.
ETA: This is not correct.

That is not true. A player who re-signs with his previous team on a one-year contract – or a two-year deal with an option year – is given no-trade protection. So is a player who signs an offer sheet and has that offer matched by his previous team. Players who accept one-year qualifying offers after their rookie contracts expire also receive veto power.

There are 5 clips, first three are eh, 4th one is pretty bad, 5th one is really scary and ugly (Sato lands on his head). Kind of like the Grayson Allen tripping thing where there are some clips where it's clearly intentional and some where it'd be questionable by itself, but there are so many of them that they're all equally suspect. At any rate this is definitely a downside for me.
the last play looked like he had a lot of ball and it seemed more like a momentum issue.
Hard to defend the others.
I had the same thought on the last one. It looked to be mainly ball but the angles that they both came from and momentum caused the problem. The one before that though is just atrocious. That's just an out and out dirty play. A real cheap shot.

Is there some difference between Portis and the Morris brothers? Coz I don't really see one.

Remember when Moose went to a bench role, and he would torch backup centers? That's what I feel like Portis will do

Right, you're right. The trigger is if the trade diminishes the early bird or bird rights. Portis doesn't have them to lose. Thanks for the correction.

I could see us giving up a draft pick in 2047 to move him.

Re: Bucks sign Bobby Portis
he's a blackhole and a chucker on offense, sucks at defense, and is seemingly not a very good teammate. pretty good rebounder. sometimes gets hot. pretty meaningless move, but not a bad signing for 4mil

Portis is a way better 3pt shooter . Just a better player overall IMO

He’s like Monta for a way lower price.

That's completely wrong. Both Morris brothers shot better than he did from 3 last season - both in percentage and volume. Marcus Morris is a far better player than Portis, and even Markieff (who's not good) is better than Portis. Portis is a putrid defender, while the Morris brothers at least play defense at a reasonable level. Portis isn't just putrid at defense, he's also one of the most inefficient scoring bigs in the NBA. And as far as I know, the Morris' never injured a teammate - punching him in the face - like Portis did to Mirotic.

I don't understand how the last thing can be true if all the other things are true. Seems like you'd want to pay the player you described to stay away from your team.
Bad at offense, bad at defense, bad teammate? Eh, four million dollars seems fair.

The reporter was factually wrong so BP corrected him in his reply.

Reminding me of the story that got Dave Begel officially blackballed from reporting anything in Milwaukee on sports again
Huge power play between Hammond and Kidd that Kidd won.

Re: Bucks sign Bobby Portis
Hammond is gone, Kidd is gone, Vaughn is gone, and only Portis is here, so I guess things end up well for the Bucks in the end.
