People are beating a Hitman 3 level in 9 seconds. It’s not even an exploit, there’s just a way you can shoot both targets at the beginning of the level. Can’t tell if this is ingenious or bad design.

I can't get the damn Skippy quest to trigger in cp2077, no matter how many people I kill with it. I literally have 0 side missions/NCPD hustles (that aren't initiated by the main story) left.

I'm pretty excited for February. P5 Strikers on pre-order, the Mario game coming out is new to me (Wii U game with some new content), and the PS+ games are maybe the best I can recall seeing - Control Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie. Both have been on my 'someday' list and I get to trip into them for "free."

Finally started playing Miles Morales. Gave it an hour or so with the upgraded visuals and ray-tracing, and wasn't all that impressed with it. Switched it to performance mode in 60 FPS and god damn. Very impressive.

I think it was a GOTY at some outlets. I played it for a spell but thought it was slow and bounced. That said it's one of those that I'm sure I'd like if I gave it a more honest chance.

The souped up PS5 version sounds cool. That said I see there's a choice you have to make between the great graphics or the 60 FPS gameplay. Anyone else annoyed that there has to be this choice? Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Control...shouldn't these shiny new consoles be able to handle both?

If this annoys you then you should just be building the sickest PC you can. That's the only way to have ultra graphics and high frame rate. Consoles are always going to have this compromise at their price point.

It's funny, one of my friends was saying the other day that he wants to get out of PC gaming and go back to consoles because there is less fiddling. Ironic that they are becoming more fiddly, as now you have these different performance settings vs set it and forget it.

Finally finished my first full play-through of cp2077. I went for the All Along The Watchtower ending, really enjoyed it even though tough decisions had to be made. Pretty sure I qualified for all the endings so I'll be running that back to see them before starting a female play-through.

Fairly certain I am going to fly through Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It just feels super refined; combat feels weirdly satisfying and has a great flow to it.

Bought Bioshock Collection for Switch for $20. I’m having a blast reliving my younger years. Runs great in handheld. Well worth it.

I definitely preferred the Miles Morales gameplay but they were both amazing to me. The first Spider-Man game's story was better though, and the DLC was surprisingly good too. Both were among my favorite single player experiences that I've had in a very long time. I can't wait to see what they do for the 3rd game; I imagine we'll be switching between Peter and Miles throughout (and maybe Mary Jane like they do in the first game).

Shake ups at Stadia. Honestly think this thing will disappear in the next five years. Maybe the next two if if subscriber number dwindle. Cloud gaming is a cool idea that I think will succeed at some point, but Stadia isn’t the one.

I think people just don't trust it yet. I love my stadia. Whenever I have friends over, they either haven't even heard of it or didn't think it played the titles it offers.
