Quite funny how, at the start of the playoffs this season, people wanted to praise Bud for using Khris, Giannis and Jrue more minutes, when he has been the Head Coach for this team for the past 3 years.

I mean ... do we really need to praise someone for doing the obvious (basically what they should have been doing from the start)?

If this disorganized play is what Bud's coaching staff can produce after 3 years with very good talent (every year), then I am at a loss for words.

Yes they are.

Good luck.

I’m not watching another minute of this team.

Not being able to exploit a man who can’t push off with his hamstring, not adjusting to slow down KD, basically running all one-on-one plays down the stretch, that was maybe Bud’s worst game. Yeah not just on him, but anyone arguing that Bud should be fired can play this game tape and have some pretty powerful arguments.

It's soul crushing that they lost. Kudos to KD. That was some amazing ****.

But tonight the officiating jumped the shark for me. In a game that they had given the Nets a good 12+ points if not more they called a game deciding call with 1:00 to go in a playoff game 5. The worst player on the floor by a sizable margin falls over after hooking a defender in legal guarding position. And the officials go to center court and say that it's a foul. If it is I can no longer abide this game. I've given up football and baseball and held on to basketball but that call and the dozens before it have me asking why I should be spending what time and money I have for this when it's not even reasonable equitably decided.

Never should have even gotten down to that play, this game was decided in the third when we played **** ISO ball and refused to go Small to prevent Jeff Green from cooking us and, and failed to make any adjustment on how we defended Durant. Bud has to go, our players did dumb **** but a good coach couldve salvaged this game with simple adjustments.

It's mostly Durant putting in one of the top 50 playoff games of all time.
Everything else matters, but not nearly as important.

Durant’s game would be a footnote if the Bucks displayed even a semblance of an offense at any point in the second half.

Giannis cannot guard kd and make it past the 3rd quarter. Period. He’s fouling out. He should have guarded him in certain situations tho.

Midds has been super reliable. Jrue better today.

Absolutely criminal that Bud isn’t using Giannis on Durant.

Still I’m optimistic about game six. That would have taken a lot out of Durant and Jeff Green had a random explosion. I’m worried that Harris is due a hot game though.

That was our chance & we blew it. They’re done.

Late in the 4th, Jrue brings the ball up with Pat on his left, Giannis on his right near the top of the key. Giannis calling for the ball, and it appeared Pat was pointing and yelling to give it to Giannis. Jrue, with half a brain, is thinking it's a bad idea, giannis is going to go down the lane line a bowling ball and get a charge as he hesitates to pass it to Giannis. With no other options, he passes to Giannis predictably bowls someone over for a charge. Giannis trying to match Durant as a back and forth is really not smart. We somehow need to get a lot of smart players around Giannis to somehow try to balance out our stupidity. Maybe we can have average basketball IQ as a team.

You're literally on crack. Like that entire 2nd half was on the caliber of what they did in games 1 and 2 of this series. The only way you throw leads like we had is by going for entire quarter length stretches of taking bad shots. Opponents being on fire is irrelevant when you're up 15 in the 2nd half if you just take smart shots.

Don't forget much of that KD stretch was them screening Brook onto KD and KD just cooking him every time. Seemed like he was laughing his was back down the court. With DDV I wonder if they could've then gone small.

For the Giannis/KD. Have to remember he had 4 fouls and is prone to charges at all time especially with guys like Blake/Jim Harden flopping/baiting nonstop.

Terrible screener, bad decision maker, and just an overall bad halfcourt player. Him being a low iq player or just a choker I can live with, but man his development is the real issue.

this is the first year he didn't significantly improve.

Unique wrote:Same old story.

Instead of finishing the game by expanding the 20 points difference up to 35, Bud decided to slow down the offence by putting a rookie in to "protect" Jrue from fouls. WTF???

As a result some Green kept them alive and brought them back into the game. Even **** Thanasis could stop this guy.

Bud made things worse by swapping PJ for Middleton on KD. That was the end of it. KD went from 27 points to 50 in 12 minutes.

Bud needs to go. Seriously.

Huh? Bud stayed with Tucker way too long. Middleton on Durant is what gave us a chance at the end.

Giannis should have caught the pass of course, but also Khris should have taken the layup.

Let him foul out. It's more important for us to maximize effectiveness when he's on the court. Down the stretch the ball shouldn't be in Giannis' butterfingers anyway.
