I don't see it w/ Tyler Smith. There's more to the game than being kind of big, kind of athletic, & kind of being able to shoot. Like deception on o, anticipation on d, & being able to catch a board or pass.

Horst is bad at drafting. Might have gotten Johnson right in the long run (though I still question the strategy for a contender). Maybe Livingston looks much better w/ the 1's & 2's. We know how limited on o he is. Can't play w/ fellow limited players. But overall it's a lot of slop.

It's so obvious he's going to be good barring injuries. It just won't be this year because he's too inexperienced, too skinny, but the talent is super obvious. I wish we could fast forward him, but only him, like 2-3 seasons and have that version on this team lol.

I was never high on him, and I'm someone dammit.

Maybe he was a necessary evil w/ the team woefully under-athletic last yr, lacking in depth, & when he was anomalously hitting his j at a respectable clip. But the squad's progressed & he's regressed to having a broken jumper while still playing recklessly.

Marjon & Jackson are just brutal and might need a change of scenery but I feel like Johnson can contribute a little bit this year so there's is at least one silver lining

Oh so do I because I believe that player will be allstar level starting next to dame. But don’t underestimate his value this year especially by playoff time it’s a long season give him minutes.

I don't see many minutes for Marjon or Ajax unfortunately. Johnson will get scrub mins, but he should prob be given space to work on his game in the G League.
