Also, Rodgers' tweet about Aldridge's midrange game being Drew Goodenesque ranks among the greatest Tweets of all-time.

I'm not proposing trading him, just entertaining this is a hypothetical. Could be an interesting discussion or debate.
This is one of the biggest things I don't get about Bucks fans who love Giannis. I mean, if you love Giannis, and think he was the best player out of last year's draft (as a Sixers fan, I would say MCW, but whatever), then why would you take Wiggins? Even if Wiggins and Giannis could play together, each of the other three guys give you something you don't have...
Parker - your go-to scorer on DAY ONE
Embiid - elite rim protection with freakish low-post offensive upside
Exum - your PG of the future
I understand that Wiggins has tons of upside, but if Giannis has many of the same upside-ish qualities that Wiggins has, why would you take Wiggins, when each of the other three guys also have big upside - and would bring stuff to the lineup that you do not already have?

The only thing that sucks about Rodgers' twitter account is that it's nowhere near active enough.
Someone should make a twitter account for Rodgers' twitter account.

We all love Giannis but I'm sure that ull find that the consensus about Giannis is that he should no way be a reason we do or don't draft anyone, regardless of redundant or complimentary skill sets. Giannis is our guy but he's far from dictating any personnel moves. Liking or disliking Wiggins should have nothing to do with him.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

I want the best player left after Cleveland picks regardless of how they fit with the rest of our roster.

Embiid is the pick if he's there at #2.
But to your point, there's no sense in worrying about fit when you won 16 games the prior year. You take the best prospect available, bottom line. It's why you don't worry about taking Embiid when he plays the same position as your best player. Take the best guy and worry about roster composition later.

Go-to scorers who can't penetrate from beyond the three-point arc are pretty damn overrated.

First off u have no idea if exum is a pg or sg.Some t yesterday gave me his stats for per 36 n e only averaged 4.3 assists I don't know bout you all but that doesn't scream pg.to me especially when smarts per 36 were just as good as his assists per was higher

I fully agree with that position...which is why I would be STOKED if Embiid was there at 3 - even with Noel coming back this year. Take the best player on the board when you pick, and sort it out later. I think what is interesting about this draft is that - outside of Embiid, who I think is in a class by himself - each of the other three guys has question marks attached to him...
Parker - who does he guard - 3's or 4's?
Wiggins - will he develop a quality handle (Iguodala-redux for me)?
Exum - does his athleticism translate to the NBA?
With Embiid, while his offensive upside is yet to be determined, you get elite rim protection on day one...which should make his selection at 1 a no-brainer (although it IS the Cavs we are talking about here). However, if he somehow falls to 3, I will be doing the Church Lady dance for the rest of the night...
Good luck on the 26th.

I watched very little Bucks' basketball this past season but the few games I did watch he was very unimpressive. I came away constantly disappointed given all the hype surrounding him. Again, though, it was a very small sample size. He is skilled and obviously young but he didn't jump out and really wow me like I expected. As a means of comparison I loved Tobes from almost the second I saw him. I was immediately impressed with him. I didn't see that or feel it with Giannis but ultimately given how little I saw him I realize that may not mean a whole helluva lot.
I didn't watch a ton of games last year either and I have a very similar opinion. Must have missed the games where he was flashing greatness.
He does look like he's a nice piece though. I wouldn't count on him being a superstar or anything like that though. For now I'm hoping he gets to Batum's level as a player.
Giannis is just so raw, especially from a scoring standpoint. The thing with him though he not only was the youngest player in the NBA last year, he didn't even pick up a basketball until he was a teenager, so that helps explain why he's so raw. On the flip side, when he'd flash his moments of greatness along with his size/athletic gifts, it was easy to see reasons to get so excited about his future once he gets experience. It's just going to take more time than your typical American kid who has been playing ball since they were a young child.
Thankfully, he seems addicted to the game and his desire to get better is off the charts. He doesn't play just to collect a check, he wants to be great out of love for the sport.

I always wondered...Lee was most definitely a scorer.
South Bend. Huh. Thanks for the update.

Completely agree. Bucks need the best player they can possibly get out of this draft. Sure, if they have a couple players ranked equally then look at the other things. Otherwise fit is completely irrelevant on the 26th. Grab the best player and figure the rest out later.

It's insulting to those of us who actually watched games last year to say Giannis is overrated on this board when its coming from people who couldn't bother themselves to watch more than a handful.
