I hope this gets resolved one way or another this week.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Same. The more time that goes by the less I think we will be the ones to sign him to an offer sheet. Either way I doubt the Suns wouldn't match.

Then again...I didn't think Houston would skip matching Parsons deal. Never say never I suppose.

Yeah, I doubt Derek Harper and weird name guy have any inside info, but the simple fact that the Suns' point guard depth chart reads: Dragic/Thomas/Ennis should give Bledsoe supporters on this forum a decent amount of hope.

Bledsoe is not under contract, that's the reason. They do similar things during summer league every year. I wouldn't read into it at all.

I can't wait to see the details. Parsons is a Fegan guy, right?

If the Bucks were going to issue the Max to Bledsoe they would need to clear some capspace. As the decent FAs are used up teams will start looking for trade targets, which is where the Bucks can get involved. Ilyasova would be a prime target.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

This is also a team that had a lot of success playing two point guards last year. They are likely just trying to get some depth and consistency with that system while protecting themselves against losing Bledsoe either through FA or injury again.

I know the Suns were rumored to be interested in Deng, Ariza in addition to trying to land a big fish. All their targets how ever serious have been signed. It seems as though outside of Thomas there isn't really any Free agent left they are going to land for significant cap room. They still have cap room to burn, for that reason I think they match and figure out the roster balance later.

with cap room they could take back salary in a trade too

I'm kind of afraid of what they'd want back in a trade. Ersan plus something serious. Henson, Knight, Middleton, or maybe a protected 1st?

The way Kidd talks about Ersan, hard to see him traded this offseason

Yeah, the Ersan comments are troubling. Just don't see how they are going to make it work. I am guessing Middleton plays a lot of SG, but even then, you have Giannis, Parker, Sanders, Henson who you obviously want getting big minutes in the frontcourt to see what they have. That doesn't even count Ilyasova, Inglis, Pachulia, O'Bryant, Delfino. And we always have a hard time not playing veterans. Maybe that changes under Kidd. Still, I hope Ilyasova is traded and if possible, Pachulia and Delfino as well.

Kidd is a snake...he's simply trying to talk up his trade value. That's a tough job considering Ersan's fg% last year.

I'm not sure what to make of Kidd/Ersan, Brooklyn obviously really coveted Ersan and has repeatedly tried to acquire him over the last couple years but part of me gets the feeling the Kidd is being jokey bringing him up all the time and him saying he's youngest older player or whatever is a subtle allusion to the age controversy. He isn't the 2nd oldest guy on the team, Zaza and Delfino are both older. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Man I wish somebody would throw us a bone and give us some no info...

Ersan for Wiz's TPE and there is your cap room.

I feel like this could be Kidd trying to pump up his trade value. We have so many forwards someone has to be the odd man out. Ersan's contract would be nice to move for an expiring

I'm glad we aren't acquiring overpaid mediocre vets like usual, but I hope something happens this off-season as far as removing our glut of forwards and adding another good guard prospect.

I don't see why not, what else are we going to spend money on. Might as well be a young star in bledsoe. Or if the suns match it, you atleast screw them from signing other guys.
