I'm not going to go so far as to say Jabari is a ball stopper, but their "hot potato" offense doesn't exactly require an ISO-heavy player.

Now, if Jabari could play a hybrid Kawhi/Diaw role, that'd be interesting. The lack of defense would still concern the hell out of me, but it'd be interesting.

If the Bucks drafted Wiggins, I would sit him down, make him watch each Finals game from this year at least 10 times, and tell him not to take his eyes off Kawhi Leonard.

I'll be crushed if it's Parker and not Wiggins.

I haven't seen anything remotely close to Kawhi/Diaw from Parker. MAYBE he could be a PF/SF version of Ginobili but that may be a stretch.

I could see Wiggins quite easily as a Kawhi (Defense and athleticism) and Giannis as a superior version of Diaw (size + vision/passing ability).

I have no doubts that Parker is going to score in the NBA and do it with pretty solid efficiency although I think there will be an adjustment. I think he's one of those rare players that just knows how to play at a very young age. It's also worth noting that Durant had A LOT of question marks on defense AND in terms of moving the ball, but he's made large strides in each area thus far in his career largely because he just knows how to play.

I'll be cool with Parker or Wiggins, but yeah, I feel like Wiggins has a little more to work with as an overall player, thus incorporating different ways you can use him. His rebounding reminds me a lot of Leonard's.

This series has also had a huge emphasis on being able to successfully pass out of the post. Splitter, Duncan, and Diaw have made a clinic of it. It sucks we're gonna miss out on Embiid, since he excels at that, but Wiggins was also a very good passer out of the post this past season.

I haven't seen it either. But he'd have to develop it or have it to be worth No. 2.

If he could get to rim against bigs as often as Ginobli does against littles, that'd be great, but we'd still need him to find the passing and finishing.

I could see Wiggins quite easily as a Kawhi (Defense and athleticism) and Giannis as a superior version of Diaw (size + vision/passing ability).

Giannis is going to be a mix of a whole lot of great players. And, yeah, I hope our braintrust sees that in Wiggins, too.

Big day tomorrow as Wiggins works out for Bucks.

Interestingly little on Embiid's workout with the Cav's other than the disclosure that he only did medicals and not an actual workout.

It is also interesting the rumors of PHI wanting to move up to #1. I wonder if they are worried that CLE wants Wiggins or worried that we want Wiggins at #2.

Why do we think Embiid would not do a workout, is that odd?

Also, the talk about Wiggins preferring to go to Philly seems most likely to be a defense mechanism for the chance that he drops to #3. But could it be that the 76ers are making ground on acquiring the #1 pick and he's trying to entice them further to do it?

If any team would highly value Thaddeus Young and not even require #10 in addition to #3 to close the deal, it'd be the desperate to win now Cavs. And if Philly would ultimately include #3 and #10 that would be a pretty good return for them.

To clarify, I say "good return" only in the context of what they're dealing with, since it is insane period to even consider passing on Embiid (or the player you generally think has the highest chance of being a superstar) because you want to make the 8th seed in the contemporary eastern conference.

Joel Embiid is the BPA in the NBA 2014 Draft.

So let's say the Cavs either take Wiggins or trade the pick to the 76ers who take him.

We then draft Embiid at #2 as soon as we can.

While we fans are dancing in the streets, our front offices immediately trades Knight / Henson / Middleton / Udoh / #48 to the Lakers for #7 and Nash.

Then let's say we draft Nick Stauskus. I suggest him not because I necessarily think he's the one Hammond is referring to but because he'd fit perfectly to role out in the following lineup -- along with whoever we draft at #31 and #36:

PG: Nash / Wolters
SG: Stauskus / Mayo's fat corpse
SF: Giannis / Delfino
PF: Sanders / Ersan
C: Embiid / Radujica

I'd be pretty excited to watch that team next year.

I have a borderline scary mancrush on Stauskas and I don't even think I could justify taking him at 7...

I would love to have him on the team though.

Absolute no brainer the Bucks would/should do it. No chance the Cavs would.

Funny because I feel about the opposite. But after I get over the initial disappointment, I'll work my way up into trying to be optimistic about it, but no doubt, I'll be initially disappointed to hear "with the 2nd pick in the 2014 NBA draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select Andrew Wiggins."

I just had Stauskas in there as a placeholder at #7.

Aside from him, what player would need to be available for us to think it'd be worth trading Knight / Henson / Middleton for #7?

My original suggested deal was Knight / Henson / Middleton / Udoh / #48 for #7 / Nash. Of course that could be simplified with fewer players, but I'd love to have even an ancient Nash playing 20-40 games here if he would be willing to.
