I'm not accusing him of being a coach killer or anything. But from college to the pros, I cannot remember a coach that he got along with.

He's adored his national coaches as far as I've known, virtually paid his Under 19's national coaches wages a few years back when his NBL team went belly up. I think he also had a good relationship with LK.

Not sure anyone could blame him for hating Stotts and not sure anyone would blame another human being for hating Skiles. Skiles has gone out of his way to publicly humiliate Bogut multiple times since arriving to prove who the alpha dog was. There's respecting a coach sure, but eventually everyone grows tired of the arrogant doucheness that is Skiles MO - tbh I'm amazed Bogut's never gone at him in the press, I'm absolutely certain he has behind closed doors.

As far as the two teams willing to trade their lottery picks for him, my guesses are Houston and Golden State. Both of those teams have been absolutely desperate for a C forever, which led to GS giving Kwame $7M, Rockets overpaying Dalembert, etc.

I'd love to work something out with GS.

That number will go down a little more over the next couple of weeks, but not that much. Less than 50%? Have you been getting your statistics from Woelful?

The guy just called himself a "big fan" of a message board poster, and the made up statistic (which is 92.46% of ALL statistics) is what caught your eye? :)

Yea, I like Europa. He's a good dude.

The offer I would be exploring (not sure if Utah would be interested) would be:

Bogut + Ersan for Jefferson + UTAH 1st + GS 1st

Prepare to strongly dislike Al Jefferson.

Bogut for Tyrus Thomas and Biyombo.

And they would be right. If Bogut was able to stay healthy this team would be in competition for that #4 spot at east together with Hawks, Pacers and Sixers and we wouldn't have this conversations because both Hammond and Skiles would look good.

Yeah, I was just curious.

If I recall Bogut and Majerus (spelling?) couldn't stand each other either.

I'd lay money Charlotte are trying to work something out for him, though likely with someone else's pick.

Al's really irrelevant in that deal. If they do move Bogut with a focus on getting players back, they are dumb as hell.

Don't forget Rick Majerus. I remember the interview Homer did with him in June 2005 pre-draft. Homer asked him what he thought of Bogut. All Majerus could come up with was that he was that he measured out at a legit 7-feet. (*yes I know Majerus comments on his possible eyesight issue disqualify him from saying anything)

I thought it was funny that a guy so tied into Herb, Milwaukee and the Bucks wouldn't be talking the guy up. You could hear it in Majerus voice that Bogut was not a guy he was thrilled to coach.

I could care less about Al Jefferson, I realize he isn't very good and wouldn't help us win. He's just the guy I think they'd want to get rid of to package up those picks. :D

I'm not sure what we could do with Houston that I would like.

I really, really like Klay Thompson as a player, but GS doesn't have a pick this year to package up and I'm not sure I'd want Thompson as the primary guy in a Bogut trade... but I do think he has the chance to be a 15-20 PPG guy on insane efficiency. I think he can be the best long range shooter in the league and has the ability to create for himself a little.

I think Bogut would be a great fit on GS though.

Fixed.
- Bucks "Outsider"

Skiles too.
.

Yea, I was thinking that. But that would seem to me to mean some collusion between Hammond/Skiles, and I thought their relationship was in the dumps already. So I just chose one randomly (yes, randomly, has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I dislike Hammond more). 8-)

Utah owns their pick unless it's in the top-7, which is unlikely. Even if they do end up tanking and keeping their pick, they can't trade it until the end of the season when they know for sure it's theirs.

A more likely scenario would be Detroit, Washington, Sacramento, or Charlotte trading a top-3 or top-5 protected 2012 pick, followed by a top-2 protected 2013 pick, for Bogut. That's a chance I would definitely take. Those teams would be operating under the assumption that Bogut would render the future pick less valuable, but I don't think he would be able to pull those teams out of the basement in one year.

Yeah, I forgot GS doesn't have their pick. Maybe a 3 way with Monta going to Orlando, where we get GS' unprotected 2013/Klay/salary relief and Orlando's 2012, Orlando gets Ellis, GS gets Bogut.

Is Dalembert overpaid? I guess it's a small thing, but his contract seems totally reasonable to me. If it was 5 years and escalating, I probably wouldn't feel that way. But 8m on a short term deal ain't bad for a legit starting C.

If Charlotte is interested, we need to be targeting Biyombo unless somebody shows up with a bucket of assets.
