the most games Eric Gordon has played in a season is 64. Andrew Bogut has played 65 or more in 5 seasons and we called him brittle.

Pass on Gordon.

Because he's a great athlete and is putting up 7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.5 blocks at age 19/20. Not my first choice, but he could be a Gerald Wallace type in a few years.

Tobes is a scorer. His game is going to be dictated by how many points he can put up. Harkless is a hustle/defense guy without a great offensive games, he's mostly an athlete at this point. Both of them are young as hell and should improve, I'd love the pairing. Also, I think you can play them at the 2/3 together with the right options at 1 and 4.

Just as a reference, if we trade Jennings for non long-term salary and don't extend Monta, we're $21.3M under the league minimum salary, and around $27M under the cap. Which FA's out there do you value more than Eric Gordon?

Jennings is a restricted free agent after the current season, so the Bucks would be able to match any offer made by another team. But they may get in a situation such as the New York Knicks faced with Jeremy Lin last summer, when Houston structured a multyear deal in a way that made it difficult for the Knicks to match the offer.

Somebody with a JSonline account should tell Gardner that's not possible.

Brandon for NO's 1st would be great. I would take a flier on Austin Rivers if we could add him to the deal for Udoh & an expiring or 2nd.

JayMKE wrote:Can anybody definitively say if Dallas can offer a 1st or not?

Gad answered this question in another thread yesterday. Essentially the verdict is they can, but the process for making it possible is so convoluted that it happening is extremely unlikely that their pick would be included in a trade. I think GAD said that they could trade their pick this year if its in the top 20, but then we would have to give them a pick next year (whether ours or one we trade for) which obviously wouldn't be a good trade for us. They could then also include their 2015 pick to make it a worthwhile trade, but as u can see that's a lot to negotiate particularly for our front office...

We aren't getting #6 overall for Jennings. Maybe (and I stress maybe strongly) with a pick swap.

Are you a fan of the Houston Rockets?

No. A few weeks back after Skiles was fired, Woeful had said Sampson was one of the top choices if they looked past Boylan.

Boylan isnt working, Sampson is available.

I dont think we could get Gordon, but if we did, Id immediately hire Sampson.

I don't think Jennings is worth a 2nd rounder given the contract you're going to have to give him.

My thinking with the #6 is if Demps inexplicably believes he's worth that long term contract, and any team trading for him has to believe that, then he's got to believe he's worth that pick. Think about it: Jennings is worth giving $10 million a year to but you don't like him enough to give up a mid-lotto pick in a weak draft?

I will say, I am scared of trading for Gordon. Luckily, I don't think it will be on the table. You want to talk about how hard it will be to get their pick, Gordon is right in that ball park.
