His natural playmaking ability at this stage in his career is unreal. I almost feel like he could stay this weight and size the rest of his career and still be a special player, then you factor in that he's growing in length an likely in muscle mass.

As others have said, the main thing holding him back right now is tentativeness. He ALWAYS hesitates before taking jumpers. It's not like he has a broken jumper or anything, his form is decent albeit in need of some coaching. He looks like he's afraid to take them. Part of it is that he has such a PG mentality and is always looking for the open guy, but he needs to fire away on those open threes. I would also love to see if he could develop more of an off-the-dribble game. Right now he is excellent at getting to the rim and the line as it is.We talk about him being a PG, but he won't really look like it unless he can start taking guards off the dribble and finding a rhythm getting easy jumpers over them. If he could do that, holy **** would he be a nightmare to guard.

The only thing that should worry Bucks fans, is the front office and how they are going to develop this kids unbelievable talent.

So I'm guessing you guys consider him untradeable?

At least until we find out what we have in him. The sky is the limit with his talent so I don't see many situations where he is traded before we get to see him develop.

He just needs to learn that he doesn't need to take it all the way to the hoop all the time. Needs too work on that pull up jumper. Bucks need to let him play and run more stuff for him.

I see this or something like it quite a bit around here and I don't understand it. I love that he's either shooting threes or taking the ball to the hoop. If he got exceptionally good at both, he's another Harden, a player that shoots 76% of his shots at the hoop or behind the arc (Giannis's percentage currently sits at 86%).

What we saw last game was they swarmed him as soon as he got the ball. If he learns to pull up he will become a better all around player. Otherwise I do not see a 20ppg player.

Saw Giannis yesterday at Cheesecake at Bayshore. Looked like he was with some Bucks minder (had Bucks hat on) to whom he paid zero attention. Weird. Giannis just on his phone the entire time.

I see the issue being his handle as opposed to being able to pull up and shoot. If he tightens that up he'll be a foul accumulating machine.

He will likely elevate every aspect of his game, as it seems he has that ultra-competitor spirit. Even in his blog he mentions watching his idol Durant in pregame warmups and how he looked "deadly serious" and "warming up with a tension, not relaxed" and being satisfied at seeing his idol "approaching basketball with such determination."

I want to see him attack the weight room like a madman, specifically lower body. I think his length combined with somewhat of a lack of a quick twitch gives him some difficulty with his first step. That's why he sometimes catches himself in trouble from a dead stop, but is a whole different story once he gets going.

He has no friends here. His family isn't able to join him here. He's probably homesick and depressed.

Imagine how his game improves when he's comfortable in Milwaukee with family and friends.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I don't get how his employer is a fricking U.S. Senator and has not been able to arrange for his family to come here yet. What is that all about? Kohl worried about the political fall out from Republicans screaming about currying favor to illegal immigrants or something? He's retiring anyway. Makes no sense to me.

Yet we allow a lot of immigrants here for free

He's 19. Did some of you guys go all frowny face when you moved away from mommy and daddy to college? So what if it's a different country. Tons of D1 prospects go to other countries to play all the time. Freaking Jennings did it at 18 too.

He's a former U.S. senator, but yeah. I'm sure he has the pull to make something happen.

You may or may not have. Jennings had his mom/brother with him I believe. Either way, he is not you and you aren't him. Clearly he is very close with his family and feels lonely in a totally different culture. He will survive but it would be in the Bucks' best interest to arrange for his family to get here sooner rather than later. You'd think that any NBA owner could arrange for that, given their power and connections. When you realize your owner is a (former) U.S. Senator on top of that, it doesn't make much sense.

Haha, good point. Forgot Baldwin took his seat for a second!

Yeah he's already been out of office for over a year. So he shouldn't have to worry about political fall out. You'd think he'd be able to find some kind of loop hole, god knows other people find them all the time.

He can skype his parents every night, but you are right. I don't know what it's like to be in his place.

The Bucks have enough resources to at least get his parents a work visa, they could be "Player Advisors" if it came down to it. It just doesn't seem like much of a problem if they haven't done it yet.
