I wanted us to be involved in any trade for a star, but this wasn't the one. That contract is ugly.

Pistons give up that to get back a guy who can’t stay healthy. But hey, at least it will put butts in seats for a little while.

Their board thinking it was a good trade is fun to watch. That team isn’t going anywhere. Giannis dunking on Griffin will be fun though.

Blake/DJ to Blake/Drummond. Drummond wants the ball more than Jordan. Wonder how much of a trianwreck that pairing will be.

Is it an unpopular opinion to think that Griffin is a really **** good player? I think he's kinda underrated around here. If he can stay healthy is another question.

Yeah I think he's still pretty good too and should be in his prime now. I think it's worth a swing for Detroit.

LA is going full Herb on this one: rebuild while staying competitive. I guess that franchise had a decent 5 year or so run. Now it's back to being the real ****/treadmill Clippers we grew up loving.

Depends on what the next move is. It's a good start to tearing that **** down if they want it to be.

I agree Blake has become underrated. However 35mil a year? No thank you!

Wtf. Feels like a trade that Kidd would pursue to save his ass from the sack.

I have no clue if this will work or not, but a Jackson/Blake/Drummond trio figuring that out will be fun to watch.

At his price tag, given his injury history and his age, his utter meaninglessness defensively, and his overall douche factor...I don't know. I think he's just been 'under the radar' because he just hasn't been available consistently. They 'Lob City' hype train is about 3 years post-prime.

As I alluded to earlier, offensively he's dangerous as hell (albeit, IMHO, an overrated passer). Either way, I just don't see anything coming from Detroit/LA Clips in the near future regardless of this trade.

Just happy as hell we have Giannis. I guess I'll leave it at that.

I like this for LA. First, they get picks. Second, they get some cap relief. Third, I feel Tobes helps them at 80 percent of Blake but without the injury concern. Bradley gave them cap relief after this year and helps them as a player for the rest of the season.

SVG is trying to keep his job. As they fall out of the playoff hunt, this will cause him to lose it.

I hope we don't move Brogdon or Middleton for DJ.

Well we actually have a Griffin clone in Jabari and the pairing with Giannis is a little bit of a headache so I think targeting a very good PF is not as important as acquairing a great PG(Bled) and maybe a C.. I think that was the plan to save his ass.
