I don't remember LaFrenz well enough to comment Poku, Maledon is very far from SGA, Exum was much, much worse at everything in comparison to Hayes, and I see Avdija much more as an all-around forwards with good passing than a 6'8" PG like Doncic.

Don't worry, the NCAA comps are also terrible.

I don't have to, I've made this reference myself dozens of times.

Maledon very far from SGA in terms of where they are as players or very far from SGA in terms of they play absolutely nothing alike?

I think George Hill when I watch Maledon offensively, is that a better comp to you?

In terms of playstyle tbh. I can't think of a comp right now, but I consider SGA an outlier in a lot of stuff he does.

Who is Latrell Sprewell with a jumper and is less likely to choke? That's who I want.

How would you guys rank the point guards as far as value/system fit with the Bucks?

My board goes

Ball
Hampton
Hayes
Maledon
Anthony
Maxey
Mannion
Haliburton

Really hope one of those top 5 listed end up on the squad. Won’t be picking this high for a long time it would seem.

He's not as tall and has been brought up by a few people, but shades of Spree below

He can get out of control but he's obviously talented. Remains to be seen if his current hot streak from 3 is a mirage.

Haliburton first, and avoid the rest. Rare to find a player who fits our system and DNA better than Haliburton.

Only guys that get me excited are Hayes and Haliburton, probably in that order though it's close. Haliburton is a fantastic fit on both ends for us, but like Killian's ceiling a bit more.

I've been impressed by Hampton's quick reads. Not sure what to make of him yet but he's slightly more than just an athlete.

Less likely to choke another person or less likely to choke during the big game? Spree was only ever known for 1 of those and believe it or not, its the better 1 imo.

You see a post, on one of the most knowledgable basketball forums on the internet mind you, mentioning Sprewell and choke, then see a picture of PJ Carlesimo, and still feel the need to ask -- you know what, I award you no points. And may God have mercy on your soul.

# Team Player Comp.
1 Warriors James Wiseman - Anthony Davis lite
2 Cavs* Anthony Edwards - bigger Oladipo
3 Hawks LaMelo Ball - 6-7 Jason Williams
4 T-Wolves Obi Toppin - stronger Drew Gooden, Otto Porter
5 Knicks Deni Avdija - Doncic lite
6 Hornets Onyeka Okongwu - Tristan Thompson
7 Pistons Killian Hayes - a creative Dante Exum
8 Bulls Tyrese Haliburton - better MCW, Dejounte
9 Wizards R.J. Hampton - O.J. Mayo's upside, Jamal Murray
10 Kings Precious Achiuwa - Antoine Walker
11 Suns Zeke Nnaji - Taj Gibson, poor man's LaMarcus
12 Pelicans Cole Anthony - poor man's Derrick Rose
13 Spurs Isaac Okoro - faster Justin Anderson
14 Blazers Devin Vassell - Michael Redd
15 Magic Jahmi'us Ramsey - Marcus Smart+
16 T-Wolves (from Nets) Jaden McDaniels - Brandon Ingram lite
17 Celtics (from Grizzlies) Theo Maledon - almost SGA
18 Bucks (from Pacers) Aaron Nesmith - Alec Burks, Tony Snell
19 Mavs Josh Green - Josh Richardson
20 Nets (from 76ers) Aleksej Pokusevski - Raef LaFrentz, poor man's KP
21 76ers (from Thunder) Jalen Smith - P.J. Brown +
22 Nuggets (from Rockets) Nico Mannion - Mike Bibby
23 Jazz* Vernon Carey Jr. - Derrick Coleman, Vin Baker
24 Heat Amar Sylla - Pascal Siakam 2.0
25 Thunder (from Nuggets) Tyler Bey - poor man's Shawn Marion
26 Knicks (from Clippers) Tyrese Maxey - Lou Williams
27 Celtics Paul Reed - Brice Johnson with range
28 Raptors Daniel Oturu - Jamaal Magloire+
29 Lakers Cassius Stanley - Latrell Sprewell
30 Celtics (from Bucks Saddiq Bey - Khris Middleton
It is ironic that the NBA comps in this mock include 8 players with time spent in a Bucks jersey. Generally infamous players that most Bucks fans would prefer to banish from their memory, much less relive in a 2020 first round pick.
