I suspected the compressed second half of the season would get to Embiid but not so much the first game back.

That blows so much, dude was finally playing up to his potential as an all time big. Praying it's just a hyperextension

Per Woj: “Embiid has a hyperextended left knee and will get the MRI, sources said.”

Embiid was always clumsy with his landings after strong dunks or blocks and thats very serious for a guy of this size and weight.
He tries to stay on his feet most of the time and he lands with his whole weight on just one leg etc.

Giannis is very good on mitigating the pressure from his legs by falling down on his side and using both his legs and his hands to land. Having bruises on your whole body is better than puting all of this massive pressure on just one part of the body the whole time.

I hope he is alright.
GHOSTofSIKMA wrote: I think that we will do worse than last season and that Giannis is now just a mere all star. All because we switched from Bud to Griffin.

Remember when people counted the Heat out when they were missing their superstar? The Heat are now 16-8 when Butler plays this season and 4-10 without him. That's not too different from last season when the Heat were 38-20 when Butler played and 6-9 without him.

Monty Williams has the Suns just cooking teams. That's a really good young team with a fun roster. Paul really took them up a notch with quality PG play. They're going to be a tough out for anyone.

That Embiid injury looks absolutely awful. It’s been awhile since an injury got me like this one did off of the initial watch. Just so much momentum and so much weight...Praying for the guy

James Jones did a good job putting the kind of team together that works with a guy like Monty who's a serious no bs type coach. Replaced the **** heads and dudes who didn't want to be there with hard working high BBIQ guys. They play good D, can throw a variety of lineups at teams and with Paul and Booker as closers it's been successful so far.
