True, and he also has the wrong agent. He showed up out of shape last year, but now that he's back in shape, GS got a steal with him. Super skilled, the Kings never used him right.

I'm the original Brook Lopez fan, but I don't think his absence explains all of this. We've got the other answers, like Middleton and Holiday not being on the court at the same time. Additionally, while I greatly enjoy the swag offensive plays that Grayson and Nwora bring to the table, they aren't nearly as good defensively as some of the other guys we've had in those roles in years past.

I do like the idea of begging Marc Gasol to come back. But it feels like we're simply going to have to ride out these next 30-days, hoping for health and the team getting their chemistry back.

For some reason I was expecting a slight mention of JJ but alas I was disappointed.

Random question I was thinking about this morning and curious what you all think.

Would you trade Donte if you could get back a decent big for him or would you rather wait for bigs to make their way to the buyout market?

I think I'm leaning towards waiting for the buyout market just because I like Donte and thinks he adds a lot to the teams chemistry, rebounding from the guard spot and the guard rotation itself (the less we of Hill down the stretch, the better).

19 points per 36 @ .415 from 3 so far. Seamless fit and will likely get even more open shots once Middleton gets back. Hopefully Bucks can get healthy soon because a bench of Hill/DDV/PC/Portis/Nwora looks pretty damn sexy right now.

I'd trade Donte for a good long term option at PF/C or PG. Has to be a good player who fits well with the core 3 and has either more salary certainty, more upside, or fewer injury concerns. Hard needle to thread.

Still think Donte's a better player and Allen's a better fit with the starters. But Donte's selflessness also fits well with the starters.

There's nothing stopping them from picking up a placeholder big off the street, which is something that I'm still surprised they haven't done with an open roster spot.

Them trying to save a buck now could end up costing them a whole lot more in the future from the extra wear and tear that Giannis has to take. Thon would literally be better than nothing. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money. Did they not regain the tax money from the playoff run?
