He seemed like a good addition but at the same time i'm not going to lose sleep over the guy who ended George Karl's career and hasn't played on a team more than a season since.

On to bigger and better things. Hopefully the Bucks can get a better player in a Simmons deal that involves half the teams in the league and has players moving all over the place.

Am I the only that thought Mamu was starting to show signs of "getting it" last night and would rather see them develop him than play DMC in relatively meaningless regular season games? I'm not real worried about dropping below the 3 seed in the long run anyway, and frankly wouldn't complain about the 4 seed. Gonna have to beat Brooklyn at some point anyway.

I agree that he's progressing. He's looking quicker, and that's important that he develops as a 4, because he doesn't have the length to be a 5. Toronto, and their centerless lineups, were a unique challenge for Mamu, and I thought he had some nice moments. Wish he would have hit another 3 or 2.

I'm happy they moved on from Boogie, but I don't see a need to justify that with the current roster. I think Boogie is simply the wrong type of character to have on your roster.

My initial take was surprised he was let go. But then after learning the contract situation, it made perfect sense and I agree with it. I think he's generally been fine and and shown he can still hang in the Association. I also don't think he's a playoff contributor for a title other than spot minutes here or there, so why clog up the roster making it more difficult to find someone who can contribute in some fashion.

They must think Jordan Nwora is really.. really good if they make that deal. Also, if they made that deal, they might have to get Johnny Davis to put a Bucks uniform on and get some bench minutes. I dont think that's legal though.

If he keeps up what he did at Purdue.. you'll need a top 5 pick.

I saw someone post that he was terrible last night and I thought we were watching different games. He looked noticeably more comfortable out there to me and he was playing his ass off. Defensively I'm still not sure he's going to hold up but I liked some of the stuff he was bringing for sure.

boogie is like the worst defender for his position in the league. i dont understand what the confusion is.

he cant switch
he gets blown by easily
he fouls like a mfer
he doesnt defend the rim

i could care less about losing his inefficient high usage offense. i want a defender in that role.

his pouting and horrible body langauage with the refs was only going to get worse as his tenure went on and i cant even imagine combining his horrendous defense with zero self control in a playoff game. hes literally the last thing this team needs at that position moving forward as a risk reward bench contributor

i will agree it was fun to root him on in some random mid season games. he was a treat in his postgame interviews

KAT has really good net ratings as long as he plays with dogs (Beverley, Vanderbilt). Him and Giannis would be a terrific fit not only on O but because Giannis' attitude would get the most out of Towns on D. If combining those two ever becomes an option it should be done, almost always.

Precisely. He looked like the game had slowed down for him and he could trust his instincts. The net results will average out in due time. I saw a little Ingles or Kukoc in him. Yeah, white guys, whatever. I couldn't think of other comparisons so sue me.

It is a 10 day/hardship deal, yes. I didn't realize you were allowed to do that if you had open roster spots, though.

I'm actually a bit excited about Kornet. When I watched the Knicks he was really smart at setting and navigating screens and he's a plus shooter and surprisingly solid defender. He's basicly what we're looking for, albeit on the lowest level that still makes sense.
