Don't see any avenue short of Atlanta just wanting him gone. Even then, almost literally every other team could presumably beat a Bobby/Pat/MarJon offer (and I'm not really sure what else the Bucks can trade. It has to be Bobby and Pat).

I don’t think Murray is that great tbh. Dude’s been really disappointing defensively post San Antonio and it’s frankly a clunky fit offensively. I don’t think it matters though, I really don’t see what package we could put together that wouldn’t get easily outbid.

Very weird considering I agree with everyone in that we don't have the assets to pull it off, but also notable seeing as it's Haynes reporting it. Hmmmm....

I’d like Murray paired with Dame but don’t see how it gets done.

I still think Dorian Finney Smith is my favorite semi-realistic option. Not a big splash but someone that could come in and give good minutes &, in theory, wouldn't cost that many assets

Anyone know if there is an agent link bs with Dame or anything like that? Otherwise I can't see how Bucks could pull this off vs other teams assets, probably some truth but likely a leak to drive up the price. Assuming he can get his D back close his Spurs days in theory could fit good with Dame. And that he's ok being mostly off ball. 3p% last two years has held ok at 35 and 38.

I'd kick the tires on Bruce Brown. He's better than Pat and Jae.

Oh absolutely. I just figured his ~$22M would be more of a hindrance to getting something done than DFS's ~$13MSupremeHustle wrote:The Wet Whistle wrote:I still think Dorian Finney Smith is my favorite semi-realistic option. Interesting that we're liked to Dejounte. But I'm not sure we have the ammo.
Then again, I've said that before and been proven wrong. (See: Dame Lillard).

Yes, he did try to get the ball from Jrue but Jrue usually waved him off and dribbled up. Khris fiddling with the ball top of the were our worst turnovers and least efficient plays even in the 2021 playoffs and I think the perimeter defense will be better this year than the the hawks nets and suns. Maybe Fiddleton is a better nickname for him.
LOL **** outta here with the revisionist bull.
Khris Middleton had more frontcourt touches per game in that run than Jrue and Giannis. His time of possession per game was higher than Giannis and despite not being a point guard (dribbling the ball up the court), on par with Jrue. He led our team in pick and roll ball handle possessions, more than Jrue and Giannis COMBINED on top of more PPP in those than Jrue and Giannis. 4 iso's per game on more PPP than Giannis and Jrue. He shot 193 mid ranged shots on 46%. But yeah he was basically Malik Beasley under Bud.
Again, **** outta here. You don't like him. You don't gotta make up some fantasy world around it.
Specifically in the playoffs on that championship run 90% of our possessions was Jrue or Giannis with the ball and KM/Brook at the arc.. I watched these games several times. During the seasons it maybe was different.

Even if it would be a sideways deal, I'd be tempted to do it just from the standpoint of we get younger.

I want to add a note to this section, though:
We're also using Giannis more like a wing defender than a big, and he's spending much more time out on the perimeter, and farther from the hoop. This is a significant part of our interior problems.
"Lucky To Just Be Bad"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm beginning to get the feeling that Brewhoop is not a big Griffin fan.
As far as I can tell, you're the only Adrian Griffin fan. So what are the casuals, die hards, local guys who get paid to study/interpret/talk/write about basketball, and national guys who get paid to study/interpret/talk/write about basketball missing? What are we missing? This just kinda feels like a schtick.
Ironic that on a forum where every Bucks coach since Larry Drew has essentially been called a mental defective (might have been right about Larry Drew, though
I understand the need to vent, and grousing about the coach is pretty much the national pastime, but "Lucky To Just Be Bad"? Is that the reasoned position you criticize me for objecting to?
