Sinner is the only player that can return that drop shot. His weird length made that possible.

Also that serve that was like 2 inches out and called in pissed him off and reawoke the beast.

Absolutely unreal sixth set. Alcaraz went super-saiyan in the tiebreaker. What an incredible match.

Straight up godlike tennis from both men. That might be a top 5 match I've ever seen, up there with Wimbledon 08 final, Australian Open 2012 final, 2013 RG semifinal.

I thought sinner was done, then alcaraz was done in that 5th set. Alcaraz going crazy to get to the tiebreaker and after was awesome to watch. Aggressive play and was playing perfect

Disney is suing AI company Midjourney, and I for one couldn't be happier to side with The Mouse. The lawsuit sounds incredible too, with dozens of pages of examples of Midjourney outputs, as well as their own statements of blatant theft:

Once Hollywood comes after AI (I know this is ironic), it's a wrap.

Finally assembled my Camp Chef Gridiron 36. Thing is awesome, but the griddle/flat top has all these dents on the surface that look like they're from the underside. Now I get to contact their support to see if they'll replace it, but huge bummer to start off haha

Have a prime opporunity to take the Amtrak to Minneapolis since I'll be meeting a friend up there with a car and it's like...$200 round trip? So 2 of us could pay $400 or split like $80 worth of gas. Am I doing something stupid trying to book tickets or is that just how much it costs?

That's why every time I've looked into things like this I never pull the trigger, I just don't see the value at that price. heck you could probably fly for not much more or even less. To me I'd keep the $300 and just drive it myself, assuming you're going from MKE/MSN type areas. But I know I'm skewed by not hating driving like some do.

Amtrak is great in that you can relax, walk around, read a book, eat. But it's not economical. I took it once to St. Louis for a Brewers series. 2 stops between downtown MKE and Chicago and then several stops between Chicago and St. Louis. It seemed every time it got up to speed it would start slowing down. Then there was a 20 minute delay for another train to clear. All in all we saved no time and it cost a lot more than driving.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Wild. I can fly roundtrip from Eau Claire to Chicago for $180. New York for $234. San Diego for $274.

From Milwaukee? That's pretty pricey for an Amtrak. I'd just drive it and split the costs. It's way cheaper and barring some unforseen traffic apocalypse, will likely be waaaaay faster.

The missus has taken the Amtrak a few times when visiting her fam, but that's we because have one car, I couldn't go with her, and it was far cheaper than flying (especially when factoring in fees). The wifi is spotty on the train, but you can get food, walk around, stretch your legs, etc. It's not a terrible experience. But if given the choice, she'd choose driving every time.

I actually don't mind drives under 8 hours. The freedom to stop wherever you want, control your speed, etc. After 8 hours I get bored/tired, unless I can split driving duties with someone.

The ferry is another thing that is absurdly expensive. I guess some people hate driving through Chicago that much

I make about a 8-10 hour drive east probably 5x a year to visit the inlaws. The 94E corridor between Chicago and Indiana is really the most exhausting part of the trip. The shifting between lanes, random traffic lockups, obnoxious semis, etc. And there is no predictability. Sometimes, I can get through relatively unscathed and finish my trip in a solid 8 hours. Other times, it'll take closer to 10. Just because of that corridor.

But it's still way cheaper than flying. And I can take as much luggage as I want, have my car with me so I can leave whenever, take the breaks I want, etc.

Yeah, I don't mind the drive, but you'd think the train would offer at least one more benefit other than you don't have to focus on the road. $100 round trip and I'd be in. Maybe just have bad dates because I've heard others say it can be cheaper.
