So apart from not having to give up any assets to get Love last off-season, and then going on to win it all, the Warriors have ended up singing their own golden boy PF for a contract that is about $25 million less over 5 years than Love ended up getting. That looks to have worked out okay for them.

This might sound petty and a lil wrong, and it probably is both, but after Gilbert whined to the mountain tops about the Lakers and helped screw them out of CP3 am I the only person that would chuckle if Lebron went down with injury and stuck him with that payroll for that roster?

I mean he's pretty much spending like the team he was so vehemently against just a few years ago if not more

PS no I'm not rooting for injury just rooting for Gilbert to get screwed

Meh, I really do not like guys like Cousins. Just strikes me as a guy who fills up the stat sheet and none of it translates into wins. You put prime Dwight Howard on the Kings and I guarantee they do better than 29-53. That's how you know Cousins is not the best center in the league or close.

The only thing I regret saying was that I'd consider trading Jabari for him.

If Jabari was 25 or older and blew out his knee I might consider trading him for Cousins and even then I'd only consider it.

And I agree,Cousin's 24/12 was the hollowest 24/12 in NBA history.Has there ever been a center in NBA history who put up those kind of numbers but his team failed to win 30 games?

I highly doubt it.

So what is Monroe going to get? 4/70? Per year that's more than Draymond gets.

Haven't been around much lately, but please tell me we haven't talked ourselves into Monroe?

Still would rather Monroe for 2 with the 3rd an option over Lopez for longer. Just can't warm to Lopez getting paid big dollars. Gut feel says we are more of a chance to get Lopez, dunno why.

25yr olds that put up double doubles will always be tradeable. Monroe only wants basically a 2yr deal. I hope we can get him.

$15,768,500/$16,478,083 and a player option for $17,219,596 because if he opts out he can sign a new contract after two seasons starting at $30,456,000

Ramona Shelburne ‏@ramonashelburne 5m5 minutes ago
Arron Afflalo will sign a two year deal with the Knicks. His option on the second year. $16 million total.

My guess is that Monroe and Lopez will find a home when Jordan and Aldridge make their decisions.

Once Portland loses Aldridge they are going to swoop on Monroe or Lopez for sure.

Not sure what the Clippers will do here as there isn't an over the hill star in the mix. Perhaps they sign Hibbert and let us have the left overs?

Plus are the Lakers and Knichs really going to get shunned in FA? No. But the Bucks likely will.

Well I dont think that Monroe is going to Portland unless Aldridge does too, and Portland isn't swooping in on Monroe they have already met with him. Lopez played for Portland last year and I'm not sure that he makes any sense there after they traded for Mason Plumlee.

As far as the Clippers they are up against the cap unless they cut Jamal Crawford and that only gets them ~6mil. Hibbert isn't a free agent, he opted into the final year of his contract at 15.5mil with the Pacers.

So it's basicly 2/32 or if he's not very good with the Bucks it's 3/50 (but in a contract year and expiring in 17/18). Looks good to me.
