Majerus' understated Bogut "endorsement" was definitely a red flag. It was the same "endorsement" the Marquette players gave Potsie when they were interviewed after the draft. I remember several of them being interiewed since they played against him in the BE.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That wouldn't work either, because GS might have to send their 2013 pick to Utah if the protection on their 2012 pick kicks in. So they have a potential obligation there, too. They could do that trade on draft day, but that's the earliest it could happen.

I fear a Lopez/Bogut/Howard deal coming, and you know how we end up in that deal. Orlando gets NJ's pick, and that doesn't leave much for the Bucks in terms of throw-ins.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

I don't think he is a legit starting C, but I also don't think his contract is that bad.

FWIW I said something about Stott's a page or two back so I'd expect an Epi visit any minute now. Oh, and we know how Epi loves Andrew :D

I haven't listed it out, but he's got to be in the top 15ish Cs in the league, no?

He's going to snipe at your apostrophe usage when he gets here, little smatchet.

I think Dalembert is definitely a starting C. He's not a great player or anything, but he is one of the top 15 guys at the C position.

Ah yeah I guess, I haven't either. There's probably only 10 or so legit starting C's in the league, though I realize that is therefore an oxymoron.

Dalembert's per 36 numbers are something like 11/11 and his TS% is around 63%.

I like him because he plays within himself offensively, he makes an impact defensively and he's a pretty good rebounder.

I personally think it would help Bogut's game a lot if he just gave up on being a guy that you feed the ball to in the post. Just be kind of the 'dominant garbage man' type where he just averages 9-11 points on great efficiency, grabs about 13 boards and is one of the top 5 defensive bigs in the league.

I don't know why but I always think of Dalembert as like 104 years old......

Wouldn't want Dalembert in return. He hurts the tank. Rather target Hill, Patterson, the pick and expiring deals.

But I'd look at moving Bogut and Jackson to Detroit as the primary move.

He's a 7/7 guy on worse than 50% from the floor who still plays solid defense. I guess he's starting caliber, but he's certainly nothing impressive at this point or Houston wouldn't be so desperate to get themselves a center. He's a nightmare matchup for Bogut but that doesn't really indicate his value around the league, all except for the absolute elite have a couple of nightmare matchups. Bogut has actually outplayed him their last couple of meetings, it's the Wallace hoodoo Bogut has never been able to break.

I don't disagree with your premise but I hate when people use PER36 numbers for guys who are completely incapable of playing 36 minutes per game. There's a reason Dalembert plays 24mpg and it's got nothing to do with McHale not liking big guys. He'll never average 30mpg again in his career.

They'd love Jack in Detroit, every night would be bobble head night in the stands.

Dalembert was really good for Houston once he arrived. He solidified the team, but the cohesion was fleeting and it fell apart. I think he would have the same effect in Milwaukee and damage the tank too much to make it worth it. If I'm Houston, I'd rather have Bogut and Dalembert on the same roster.

Epke Udoh has had a slow start to his career, but I've watched him a few games recently and he's starting to look like a decent player. If we ended up doing a deal w/ GS I would like to see him included.

We've already got one Larry Sanders, I'm OK with that.
