I don't even think Monta remembers 2010.

I don't think Denver has cap space to sign Monta outright for something more than the MLE. They'd have to sign and trade with us or dump contracts on someone. Monta for Wilson Chandler would be right up Hammond's alley as cheap vet fix at SF.

Find it ironic you bring this up because if I'm not mistaken I think Chandler was just in Milwaukee at some club with Henson.

Coincidence?

I didn't watch enough to know, but didn't AK-47 have a nice year last year? I think he's 32 and looking for a 3-year deal minimum if I remember. Is he likely to get something 3/28.5 or is it more?

He was probably Minnesota's best player.

I would actually really like putting Chandler at the 3 with Ersan and Mayo. As long as we are not trading Giannis / Henson / Sanders of course.

AK would be awesome. He could really mentor the Greek kid in all facets of the game.

I would be surprised if we don't take a look at AK47

Cant see it unless we get Jennigns back for the QO and another idiot at SF and we have a mutiny.

I doubt it happens also, but one can hope.

On a positive note it should be fun posting "no mayo" pictures in the game threads when he does idiotic things.

Doesn't fit the profile of a Hammonds guy at all outside of age.

Would be funny if we were able to assemble a squad of foreign guys who all speak english but still nobody can understand each other.

I don't think there is going to be a free agent SF we don't look at, and kirilenko is actually good at basketball. So the move makes sense. :reporter:

If you sift through who is available, AK seems like someone we should consider. He fits money-wise if my guess is in the ballpark, and it does give the kid some time to acclimate. I do not like Smith, and I don't see Denver really moving Chandler (I like Chandler for age/price/production).

I'd only want AK on a 1-2 year deal, and I doubt he signs that here considering he declined 1 year for more then I'd give him.

Give him 2/20 and Teague 4/38?

Teague
Mayo
AK
Ersan
Sanders

White PG from somewhere
??
Greek kid
Henson
Udoh

Add another decent guard and we can be competitive I guess. 4th to 7th seed. :dontknow:
