Now that would be shrewd. When have you ever thought of Hammond as shrewd when it comes to executing trades?
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Who's the borderline allstar in that conversation?

I believe he's talking about the poopoo platter served up by GOS in the way of Sanders for Larkin/Crowder.

And that is my biggest fear of an Asik trade. Hambone trades a devalued Sanders for pennies on the dollar. Bucks lose out some leverage and likely push to make a Sanders deal sooner than necessary so they can win now while also not having to deal with an angry backup center.

Talk about a dump..... Dump meaning we gave up Sanders for far less then he's worth and the meaning of what we get is poop.

get over it if you dont like it. add a pick whatever. they need a center and i still like larkin alot. it was random a compilation so i could fill a depth chart for another tanking season with larkin at pg.

Speculative with some insider info that both sides are getting closer.

Dallas owes its pick to OKC under some heavy protection so I don't think they can trade a first rounder at this point. A future first if possible instead of Crowder would have been pretty intriguing though.

yep... just like the asik deal. only instead of houstons return for asik...... we'd have more money going out, receiving less money coming back, and getting larkin instead of wolters.

if you think were giving up too much for asik then you gotta love this return for sanders.

Not sure if this was already mentioned and I'm not really up for fishing through 18 pages, but this is currently on Bleacher Report and the only team mentioned with regards to Asik is the Hawks ...

Five days ago: http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/234909981.html

"It's hard when you've got three point guards," Drew said. "But Nate has done a phenomenal job for us. A topic of discussion these last couple days has been finding some minutes for him.

"Not only does he deserve it, but a big part of his growth, very similar to Giannis', is being out on that floor. It's going to be my job to find some minutes for him, and I'll do that."

The first thing I thought of when I saw that was trying to showcase him. It's just how dumb this franchise is.

Frankly, I don't either. I just stumbled upon it on CNNSI reading random sports stuff. Jesus, Hammond better not get Asik. We just need to play the kids and ride it out. Trading for anyone right now is beyond stupid.

Aldridge brought up Verejao and the Cavs as a legitimate player for Asik tonite. Come on Cleveland...step to the plate and get this done.
