For the people who want Exum, 4th is where you want to be.

No, if we truly truly want exum we still want the number one. As long as we play our cards right we could make out big time with future first ala the magic when they drafted webber.

Just for the hell of it, here are Pippen’s college steal and turnover numbers (per game in parenthesis). Freshman: 10 steals (0.5), 26 turnovers (1.3); Sophomore: 35 steals (1.8), 60 turnovers (3.15); Junior: 70 steals (2.4), 111 turnovers (3.8); Senior: 78 steals (3.2), 94 turnovers (3.8). It really was his junior year that he broke out.

See my previous post. It really doesn't matter what Pippen's stats were then - and he hardly played as a freshman - so using per game stats didn't mean much then. He was later to basketball than Wiggins.

Yeah, I was just throwing that out there since I was curious. He played in a similar number of games each year of college, but I couldn't find any minutes per game stats. I'm going to leave the arguing to others on this.

4,1,3,4,4 :nonono:

Exum is so intriguing. If we pick at 4 and he's there we better take him.

I got a lot of 4's too. This scares me. I have a feeling we won't get #1 but that's ok so long as we pick top 3. I'd still be confident we'd get a hell of a player.

If the Bucks are locked into the top 4, I go:

1. Wiggins
2. Exum
3. Parker
4. Embiid

But that's for the Bucks. No Randle, thank you.

7 tries to get the #1.

5 of those, they gave the Bucks Randle,
Wiggins once,
Parker once, when it was the #1 pick

Odds are low we drop all the way to four, assuming we hold the number one slot. Number one slot so critical.

My spins were mostly 4s as well.. Despite my hope, it's always seemed destined for Exum to be a Buck and 4 makes sense for him.

Preferably I'd rather pick 2nd or 3rd. So I don't mind not picking number 1.

Picking 4th scares the hell out of me. If one of the board members was picking I'd have no issue, but I just don't think the Bucks are smart enough to pick Exum there instead of Randle.

Exum is more of a project with lengh than Randle and Hammond loves him some projects with length.

If we get hosed with the 4th pick and one of Parker, Wiggins or Embiid stay in school what direction do the Bucks go?

I see at least 5 potential first round picks in that game.

:D

Funnily enough I'd say 5 might be close to the right number of guys playing in that game who could play NCAA Div 1 ball (including Exum). 2 on Exum's team, 3 playing for Scots- maybe 4 (2 on LG, 2 on Scots- there's one guy who I can't be bothered looking up his age). Add to that 1 more for Scots who was a top age player who is already committed to play Div 2 ball under Dan Majerle at Grand Canyon, and probably three more (2 Scots, 1 LG) that could play Div 2. All on scholarships- you could add more that would make the cut as Div 2 walk ons.

I know we're not a basketball powerhouse down here, and it's obviously not on the level of the other lottery prospects playing college ball- but this wasn't running rings around local chumps- these kids can play, and those Scots college kids he played against in the finals are heavily drilled and already basically training at close to the level of a college team. You get an idea from the footage, these kids are elite athletes and Dante isn't exactly towering over them to make things easy- Scots have a very good 7 footer to patrol the paint (Isaac Humphries, who is only 16 and already pretty skilled- I think he'll be an NBA prospect), and 6'3"-6'6" guys in the backcourt.

The assists numbers is the big thing to take away from this, if we question the level of talent then getting his teammates into position to score is still valid.
