There, I said it.

I've been saying this for awhile. People see the color of his skin first before they see that he creates his own shot, plays anove the rim and has PG skills. He's closer to Roy or Ginobili than pretty much any of the lazy white guy comparisons.

Agree on this. I would love to get our hands on Stauskas somehow. I know its unlikely, but I like his prospects.

I do think Cavs take Jabari. Do others think they take Wiggins?

I'm 80% positive the Cavs are going to take Parker. 10% Wiggins 10% expects Randle (cuz Cavs gon Cavs).

Taking Parker would be an awful idea for the Cavs. Would literally give them the worst defensive starting 5 in the NBA assuming they resign Spencer Hawes.

Irving
Waiters
Parker/Bennett
Thompson/Bennett
Hawes

Who defends in that lineup? They'd give up damn near 110 PPG.

Slept on it. Really think we gotta trade back with Philly, take Embiid and BPA at 10.

Que?

Wiggins fits that team beautifully. He should be their pick if they don't take Embiid.

Are you implying that everyone that favors Wiggins is a Parker-hater? Because that's pretty ridiculous.

The Embiid problem really complicates things. I can live with any of the usual top four suspects, but I would have preferred Embiid, Wiggins/Exum, then Parker.

I do think the Cavs go with Wiggins. I don't know if David Blatt will have any input, but if he does what does it mean?

I can't see the Bucks picking Embiid at #2 following the surgery. Like Chuck Diesel, I'd rather they see if they can swing the Sixer 3&10 deal. If they can't do that, then take Parker and be happy.

Still, they need to find a way to get another first, preferably a lotto pick.

:dontknow: Who did the Cavs take last year? That should answer your question. :D I just think you are hoping the Cavs are taking Jabari, so the Bucks take your favorite Wiggins. I would be ok with that, but its not in our hands.

I still think there's a chance they take Embiid.

But if not I think they take Wiggins.

The NBA TV does a terrible job covering the draft. They are replaying old drafts which I kind of like but current draft TV is scarce. Instead of any pre draft shows its a bunch of documentaries. Im into documentaries but there is plenty of dead NBA time coming up giving me some more coverage.

Giannis/Wiggins would be a pretty sick foundation for a running team if you could find a PG to make that work. And if Giannks learns to shoot consistently they could even play the 3 and 4 in a small ball lineup without giving up too much on D.

Not saying that's a championship formula, but it would be fun to watch.

Ironic that we could have the same draft as 1994

Parker=Big Dog
Wiggins=Grant Hill
Exum= JKidd

and we probably end up with the same caliber player from that draft.

I know he's Cleveland's Woelful, but still--

Potential No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Jabari Parker worked out for the Cavaliers on Friday and by all accounts, it went well.
Parker did not, however, look as good in his workout as prospects Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins before him, sources said. Parker struggled shooting the ball, according to an account by Yahoo Sports, but the Cavs admired his passion and overall skill level.
