Signing Bledsoe would be fabulous, but adding another high lottery pick to go along with Parker/Giannis sounds just as good, if not better to me. Building through the draft has been my mantra, so I don't know if we should abandon that philosophy just as we're starting to do it the right way (consecutive top 5's). I'm also pondering what growth Knight could see with Kidd in charge of him. There is no guarantee that our next lottery pick is as good as Bledsoe, but Bledsoe does have injury issues that concern me. Call me Natalia Imbruglia.
If Lin comes with a first rounder, I'd probably do that. I'd actually request that the first rounder come at a much later date in the future though. I'd gamble that the Rockets could be crappy in like 5 years rather than take a for sure pick in the 25-30 range.
I like Vasquez, but he doesn't dramatically change our destiny of a lottery team. Meh, as long as the deal wasn't long or expensive, I do not care. He's a backup.
Fantastic post, very much where I am. I also enjoyed the obscure Australian pop star reference.
