Balance of probabilities. We aren't likely to get a better piece in the draft than Bledsoe. Lin's the guy you really don't want. He can really boost a bad team as primary ball handler while not being good enough to elevate the team to be worth it iMO.

Oddly enough, I will say I'm rather torn here. Signing Bledsoe would be fabulous, but adding another high lottery pick to go along with Parker/Giannis sounds just as good, if not better to me. Building through the draft has been my mantra, so I don't know if we should abandon that philosophy just as we're starting to do it the right way (consecutive top 5's). I'm also pondering what growth Knight could see with Kidd in charge of him. There is no guarantee that our next lottery pick is as good as Bledsoe, but Bledsoe does have injury issues that concern me. Call me Natalia Imbruglia.

If Lin comes with a first rounder, I'd probably do that. I'd actually request that the first rounder come at a much later date in the future though. I'd gamble that the Rockets could be crappy in like 5 years rather than take a for sure pick in the 25-30 range.

I like Vasquez, but he doesn't dramatically change our destiny of a lottery team. Meh, as long as the deal wasn't long or expensive, I do not care. He's a backup.

Not sure. Obviously someone on the Bucks medical staff would need to vet this out thoroughly. When that injury happened, I thought he was out for the year.

But look at his game logs from March and April. Excellence abounds.

They clearly didn't need to make old Bucks like excuses about him needing time to get back into the swing of things. He picked right up where he left off.

I'm slowly getting through this thread, but he can absolutely have more issues with it. How Wade's was managed was wrong (total removal as far as I know) compared to what would be done today. Essentially each op would see a little more trimmed off each time. This means that eventually his knee may end up like Wade's, but in theory would take longer/more ops.

It's a bit of a red flag, to be honest. May be something to leverage Bledsoe with if we are going to take that gamble.

Aside from drafting Ennis, I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but Dragic is also a free agent next summer. I am not convinced Phx would match a 4/52 type deal. Agree with PP that Bledsoe is a good gamble, at that cost anyway. If he goes down early we are likely picking top 5 again. Hornacek obviously likes to run with small guards and Knight would be a nice cheap one year replacement for them. Knight/Ilyasova/Henson would balance it out salary wise.
