Time to fire Kidd before he usurps the throne.

Stein: Hammond expected to join Weltman in ORL

Post#272 » by BuckHole » Tue May 23, 2017 7:04 pm

Turds can now celebrate. I'm disappointed we lost him. I hope the next, unknown GM can make smart choices and predict future stars when all there is is potential. Dammit, roll the dice and hope for good fortune. Here we go, future, be easy on the Bucks.
I admit to being a terrible judge of talent and having minimal knowledge of the game of basketball.

We should have agreed to let Hammond walk only if they absorbed one of our terrible contracts.

Hammond did some good things here. It's hard to say how much control he really had, but he still made some quality moves. Giannis was the no brainer, but even moves like MCW for Snell and Ennis for Beasley are to be praised. The problem is a lot of Hammond's better moves have been with "assets" acquired in s*** deals earlier.

Please Kidd next. This team can win, and we have a lot to be excited about. Don't stop.

We a lost a good guy who, IMO, was an average to slightly-below-average GM. Excited to see who is the next GM if Zanik isn't 'promoted', and I really hope he's going to pick his HC and FO too.

It's interesting to see that Hammy fled to Orlando, where the DeVos owner looks like an evil version of Herb Kohl

Yep this is no doubt true. I think those who thought we couldn't do worse than Hammond are in the extreme minority, though. My point has always been that to win it all, it's necessary to do better.
