Squid Game, horrible writing and acting. But I'm enjoying it nevertheless
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I actually think the writing (plot sequence, twists, character variation) are all really good. Ep. 2 where they go home is a knock, but other than that, it is much better than the crap shows like Walking Dead that you all watch.

If you are referring to dialog by “writing,” that could also be influenced by the subtitling. And acting across cultures is very subjective, as you are imposing an analysis of “bad acting” or overacting on what could be differences in language intonation, accents, how different cultures express emotions, etc. I have no issues with bad acting in Squid Game, especially in comparison with aforementioned crap zombie show.

Yeah I should have been more clear. The plot is good, the dialogue is bad, I'm watching the dubbed version, I hate subtitles. The voice actors are over the top

Never go dubbing. Even if you hate subtitles, that is the quickest way to ruin a film in another language.

Doom Patrol S3. Getting weird. I love how it’s evolved.

Yes, there is a reason these people are dub actors
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

You guys were right, as much as I hate subtitles it's definitely the way to go for this show. Much better. Five episodes in and I'm enjoying it.

Finished Squid Game. Every episode up to the last one was good. Not a fan of the ending.

Spoiler:
Definitely failed with The Usual Suspects twist.

This looks really good! And it’s the first acting appearance from Philip Seymour Hoffman’s son, Cooper.

Definitely intrigued by this. The first few years, before stoned Ragnar, of the original were great but then like a lot of shows it went downhill. I'm always a sucker for anything set in this type of time period though, so I'll give it a watch for sure.

Spoiler:
I thought Episode 2 was incredible personally. Knowing where the show is headed I did not at all expect them to go home and watching the return home and then return to the game unfold was devastating to watch.

Love me some P.T.A. I might need to go back and watch a few of his movies when I get a minute.

Hard 8 anyone?
