Holy balls has Ivey been awful tonight.

They just came in with the absolute wrong strategy as a team. The entire offense revolved around posting up their big man and their bigger big man. The smaller big man had a million moves but his shots had no chance of going in and the bigger guy just isn’t skilled at all.

Painter overthought this one big time. Incredible run for St. Peter’s. I wish we could get Shaheen to coach Syracuse but I know he’s likely headed to Seton Hall once this run ends.

The ACC was straight-up trash this year. Eye test, record against other conferences, RPI, every metric up and down the sheet. At various times they were behind non-Power 5 conferences, including the AAC and MW. And they have three teams left, including these two gems. It feels gross.

That game was painful. I appreciate good defense, but that was good defense matched with horrid shooting.

Hoping Arkansas/Duke is more entertaining.

1. Absolutely **** 3/4 F4 teams being from the ACC. (ETA: Sorry I'm bad at math apparently - this would make it 2/4. All good with UNC losing).
2. Kansas is the best chance to keep Coach K from one last title. Duke would slaughter St. Peters, they're not going to let UNC beat them again, and Villanova is now hobbled with their second leading scorer on crutches.
