Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
I feel like they’ve mostly hit a sweet spot with the recruiting where it’s shallow enough as to not be a slog but deep enough that I have to spend time in it every week.
Having said that, I’m a little surprised we don’t have FIFA-esq cut scenes to show recruits picking their hat and whatnot and the fact that we don’t get Signing Day flips is kinda nuts.
Also feel like they could have embraced social media a little more by having recruits post pictures of their visits at other schools and stuff.

CFB 25 is okay, EA gonna EA. The real hope is the game does well and 2k makes a college hoops game.

This is my hope too though after waiting nearly as long for Top Spin as we did for NCAA, Top Spin was a massive letdown.

Classic EA in that there’s just stupid things and I don’t think the gameplay is great. Like why is my freshman RB being subbed in when he’s not even numbered on the depth chart?
Or during super sim, why does my QB never keep the ball during a run option?
The RB sub thing is annoying. Cannot figure out how to fix that and have my actual #2 be the first sub. The same thing happened to me with Wisconsin. And CJ William is third on my depth chart but barely sees the field.
Luke Ridnour getting silly all over - throwing mad alley oops to Ilyasova.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
3 straight games I've played have had the super sim bug forcing me to restart. This one game on a drive to win vs my rival with 1-2 min left. Just completely sucks my desire to play out. I want to, but I'm not going to replay a game 4 times just to finish it.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Ive been greatly enjoying CFB 25. The AI is very good to where they aren't impossible, but still extremely tough, while also being beatable if you execute. I haven't noticed/ran into too many issues with the subbing like others have mentioned. The recruiting glitch where you can't set up visits is extremely annoying and the results from simming the week are wild. I have to super sim every game to make sure I don't get a dumb result like my undefeated team losing to a 2 win indiana.
I'm in 2030 with Wisconsin, have won b2b natty's and am currently undefeated going into the B1G championship.
My friends are currently getting an online dynasty together, which will be fun. We randomly chose teams from the Sun Belt and I've ended up with Troy so we'll see how that goes.

I created a promotion/relegation system. AAC feeds into ACC, CUSA into B12, MAC into B10, Sun Belt into SEC, and MWC into PAC12. Only bummer is because I assigned the Independents to other conferences, it's removed my ability to edit the Sun Belt conference so the SEC-Sun Belt part is broken until EA fixes it.
Anywho, started off as the OC at Syracuse (my alma mater) and after 4 or 5 years of turning down job offers (and finally getting Syracuse into the top 25 with a QB who would go on to break all the school records), I finally made the jump to leave for the HC job at Stanford (who had been relegated to the MWC by the time I took over). I just entered my 4th season at Stanford. I've hit the top 25 several times over the first 3 years but haven't finished in the top 25 yet. I did get promoted back to the PAC12 and had a good first season back with the big boys (9-4 and a bowl win). My WR won the Heisman with 100 receptions, over 1,700 yards, and 21 TDs and my QB was a finalist the following season, but I haven't quite broken through just yet. The only team in the conference that's better overall-wise right now is Oregon though, so I feel like my time is coming.

Congrats to those of you who've been waiting on Fallout London the last few years. It's arriving tomorrow.

This review name drops original Actraiser and Fat Princess and now I guess I'm obligated to play it.

Shared this before but a reminder if you use Twitter on desktop you don't ever need to see an advertisement, have your timeline throttled, or see anything/anyone on it that you don't want to. Install Old Twitter Layout.
Also, in Privacy and Safety settings (where that Grok setting is located) is the muted words/accounts setting. I use it all the time.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Given how predatory and sleazy sports games have become, I wonder how much of a market there is for someone to come in and make a better miltiplayer game without the NBA license.
For instance, 2k intentionally skips fair matchmaking because they want you to need to pay to win. An underdog company could match you against similarly skilled/rated opponents and have less downtime between games. Is that worth $50 million a year to somebody in a market where the big game clears a billion?

PoE: Looking on Maxroll and trying to pick a league starter...so hard to pick.
Right now looking at Lacerate Gladiator or Ice Shot of Penetration Deadeye. Telling myself I'm really going to invest in this league.
