Coppola really missed a golden opportunity to have James Caan scream "I am the eldest boy!!" in the last dinner scene of Part 2 imo.

The man can light a scene and I take no umbrage with his casting choices.

Does he really understand office dynamics? Less clear.imo

I find this happening a good amount with shows on Netflix. If I don't watch them within a week when they're getting The Buzz, they get added to a list that I never return to.

**** YES.

I was excited about Kaos so I checked it out pretty quickly, but I tend to be a little gunshy about watching these obviously-intended-to-be multi-season stories right away because I have this thing about wanting to finish the stories I start.

It used to be that acclaim bought a show some time to find its audience. It's hilarious to me that I'm like nostalgic about a time when marketers had a loud enough voice in the room to tell execs that their brand is important, and a product that the public recognizes as really really good, regardless of whether it's watched immediately, is good to create and have in the library. I think the algo just writes all that audience-building off as unlikely so anything that doesn't get x eyeballs within a few weeks is just gone.

Was thinking how Lioness reminded me of Homeland, and that was before one of the worst TV kids I’ve ever seen showed up.

Good show otherwise.

No real change, but if you prefer the Prime interface/app you can subscribe to Apple TV there ($9.99) now.

Same price but being able to access it directly from Prime will certainly add subscribers to Apple. I have it in a package with some other Apple stuff.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think I like apple's interface way more than prime, so this wont affect me unless they put out those crazy discounts they occasionally put out.

Loved the first season. Trailer above was pretty heavy on the groan worthy cliches but I was all the way in when C.J. Cregg showed up at the end.

Can't wait.

Really enjoyed the first season, too. Ben and Tommy from the Pod Save the World podcast, who both worked in national security during Obama's presidency, were both really into it as a pretty accurate portrayal (I think one of their former colleagues may have been an advisor or in the writing room).

I thought this was the best season of Slow Horses so far.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

It's been getting progressively better with each season. I thought Season 1 was pretty dull and didn't really get into it. Now, I think it's the best espionage thriller on TV.

Bad Monkey kinda wrapped things up a little too quick and easy but would happily watch more of it.

It's kinda like Fletch for new generation. My only minor qualm is that Vince Vaughn should never be shown running. He is now an old man and it shows. Also, I could do without the narrator. I don't think it was necessary.

Glad to see Yellowjackets on Netflix. We are really enjoying this one. I know a lot of you watched and I purposely skipped past those posts. Can't wait to see how season 1 ends.

Haven't seen Bad Monkey but it's too bad Fletch can't be Fletch for a new generation. Confess, Fletch was good.

Sure but tonally it was a lot different from the original.

Glad we finally got to see more of Sofia's backstory. Cristin Milioti knocked it out of the park this week.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but anyone here watching Starting 5?

Man, I have to say that I have less than zero respect for Ant man. Dude was so selfish. I've met a handful of pro athletes and had good conversations that seemed pure.

I get it, but I certainly don't condone the personality. I'm not sure if I want to tune in again to see more super divas.

English Teacher is a gem, and one of the best shows I've watched this year.

Oh hey a whole new season of The Lincoln Lawyer just dropped. I don't think it's as good as other shows in the Bosch universe (I don't really remember what happened in season two), but it's still reliably entertaining.

I had started Nobody Wants This, but I seem to be the only one alive who that show didn't click for.
