How many times did KD put up single digit points at Texas?

0. His low point games were 10, 11, and 12. To be fair his 10 point game came in OT, he played 43 minutes.

It's not too unlikely Rodney Hood outplays Jabari on any given night. If that continues how high do you think Hood climbs up mock drafts? He's already 21 because he redshirted, wonder how much that hurts his stock.

His 6'8" wingspan doesn't help either

Parker looked bad today. Abe Lincoln and his friends on Notre Dame were smothering him pretty good.

And Marcus Smart was ok but didn't take over in crunch time either. I think Smart will be a good pro, but not sure what position he plays. For awhile today he was playing C on defense.

Anymore than you originally stating Sam Dekker may be the next Kurt Portmann because they're both from Sheboygan, I'm not bound by ranking Smart high up on a tentative list (as stated then) early in the college season. Insecure noobs looking to make a name for themselves off me as a prospect evaluator really took a list posted for discussion and information and ran with it further than Forrest Gump. And then because that discussion went on and on and on, I became the Smart guy to people like you, just like I was the Felton guy. That was actually at the draft though. Like I said at the time as a disclaimer about that list - the beauty of these guys going to college is we get to see them for 1-2 full seasons, not just a few games. I thought Smart had a foible or two after observing him for a few games, and now I think he has more. He still comes across to me as a very good player who would make an impact on whatever team he lands because he's solid to good in all major areas. But that could shift either way, and right now I'd take Parker, Embiid, and probably Randle over him.

Man, I keep shuffling the players around. This last damn Duke game has me questioning my value of Parker, although I didn't see the game. I did see someone here say they liked how he played despite the fact that his shots weren't falling. I also think that a great wing is probably more valuable than a great C in today's NBA. If Wiggins hits, he could be GREAT. He hasn't shown a ton though. And Embiid.... I mean, he's just great. High floor. Super high ceiling. Downside is that center isn't really a need, especially versus how bad our guards are. I'm going to go crazy between now and the draft. Maybe we'll end up with pick #3 and it'll be moot.

Right now:

1. Clearly Embiid. Do what you need to do to get a potentially generational talent. I wish Wiggins was more of a sure thing. Hopefully Luke Richard told him good things about the community versus the truth about the organization. Get the best player and do what you need to do to make the roster work. Bye Hambone.

2. Parker. Love his game and fit with the rest of this team. Hopefully a new strength and conditioning program will take him to a new level. Minor plus is that he's close to home and may actually want to stay.
3. Wiggins. If he hits, we have our superstar wing. He hasn't shown it yet. Is it him? Is it Self? I honestly don't know. Super high ceiling. Unfortunately, I think his floor is lower than Embiid and Parker.

4. Exum. Don't know much besides the videos that have been here. Love the game and the position. Haven't seen enough to put him higher.

5. Randle. I think he's a sure fire good player. I just don't see the upside of any of the others I have above him. We're not going to win a championship based on his play. He'd be a fine player, which is good, but I want more in this draft.

Anyone know if Exum is going to have any more competitions to showcase for NBA teams between now and predraft work outs? I know StellNation seems to be the Exum insider here...

Still think Wiggins will be the best Giannis running mate.

Once the workouts begin he's gonna destroy in head to heads.

I'm still with Wiggins too. Embiid may turn into a monster but I like the Wiggins & Giannis potential.

Embiid for me. He was getting double teamed every time he touched the ball and was still very efficient. I especially like a big man that can hit free throws in pressure situation.

Yeah, watching Embiid on DVR now. He's the total package. His defensive awareness and ability to step out and switch is excellent.

On offense he has an uncanny ability to find and feed the open shooter when he's double teamed in the post. And most plays he's now double or triple teamed.

I was very high on Embiid coming into this season, but he's surpassed my expectations at this point.

How do y'all feel about Embiid value Drummond?

Embiid will be a better player than Drummond. Far more skilled.

I think Embiid has a more well rounded game that should continue to get better. Two way player that can score and defend.

Not sure Embiid will ever post the rebounding numbers that Drummond will, but I think Embiid will be a better all-around player.

That's bold man, I'll give you that. It's still too early for me to really commit to Embiid.
